yea, that was why I did it. I have a side hill on my yard. Those "lawn saver" tires would just spin and I got stuck, had to raise the deck and drive thru the green belt separating me and my neighbor and come out thru his yard.
I might tear the yard up when its wet but I won't slide sideways down a hill anymore (which is scary on a zero turn)
Shit, I about ran over my foot on my old riding mower when i first moved back from California and hadn't been on one in a while. I got stoned as shit and literally almost put my foot under the deck to kick some debris while it was moving.

Frightening nerdy topic numbers:
- total US population 333,000,000
- total US population over the age of 18: 260,000,000 (or 78%)
- percentage of US citizens that are married: 45%, or 150,000,000 US citizens
- That is 110,000,000+ adults in this country who are NOT married
Think about how fucking dangerous that is? One third of our TOTAL US POPULATION (from infants to 100 year olds) are unmarried, adults. In fact, we have MORE unmarried adults in this country than we have, children!
That's fucked. For a little bit of perspective, just 9 years ago 50% of all adults in this country were married. Our marriage rate is dropping like a rock. And inertia has set in now, there are actual forces in our culture that push back AGAINST any effort made to try and stop this marriage decline.
At this rate (just looking at these numbers)
only one half of all US adults will be married by 2030. I don't know what the fuck is going on, but this is a disaster.

Marriage was more important back in the day because the govt told us to and we did what they said. Now people can't be bothered with that shit, with a few notable exceptions.

No Tree, marriage is vastly important, MOST IMPORTANT to the simpler, poorer people, who need someone that they can rely upon. For the poor, marriage has completely disappeared.
Young women are desperate to get married. Desperate. Young women have almost two trillion dollars in student loans that they never had any intention of paying off themselves. They figured at age 22, they would be able to select whatever 6'2", 210 pound, model great looks, alpha male, medical doctor, that would marry them and rescue them. None have appeared and they will not settle (until they are 32.) And by then, its too late and they STILL have all their student loans that they have not paid. And they aren't having any kids. They just want you to work harder, pay more income taxes, and use that to square their loans.
Young men? They already know that they offer no further use. So they stopped bothering to better themselves since they are not competing with one another to get a bride. They would rather stay in the basement, smoke pot, masturbate to porn, play video games, and do nothing. Its free and they never get rejected.
Our nation is screwed tree.

Remember when Bill Maher said things that actually mattered? Then he got his ass handed to him for speaking out during our war criminal response to 911, and he's been an establishment hack ever since.

You’d be surprised. I’m in conference with half the members of this board on any given week.

Bill Maher had his show Politically Correct cancelled by ABC for making a comment that Mohammed Atta was "brave" for flying the plane into the WTC. Then he was off the air for a year. Then HBO gave him a show. That turned into a 22 season contract and the biggest politically commentary show on television. It also showed the leftists are generally cowards who tend to refuse to go on his show whereas every single Republican politician that Bill has invited, has bravely attended. The rest is history.

Plenty of right wingers have rejected his invitations, including Trump.

One or two right wingers rejecting, maybe. Plenty? No. And the Trump invitation made in Nov of 2016, that was unofficial. It was made in comedy, in jest.
Even Maher has gone on the record (multiple times) saying that the conservatives do not dodge his show when he has extended invitations for them to attend. He has also gone on record saying that the left ducks his show.

Plenty of lefties have always gone on his show. Christopher Hitchens, an avowed Trotskyist, was one of his favorite guests. There have been dozens and dozens of others. And Maher absolutely despises Trump...

All of that is true. I never said otherwise. What I am saying (what Bill Maher has said) is that the people he invites on the show that tell him NO, those are the lefties, not the righties. The righties he invites (the few that he invites) say yes. We never hear the list of names of cowardly lefties that say no. Why would Bill share that? Why would he throw people he likes under the bus? He only shares that there IS a list of names on the left that tell him no. No such list of names for righties who have said no.
