That's child's play compared to the decades when J. Edgar Hoover was running the FBI. Of course, he was keeping files on hippies, rock stars, comics who said "fuck" on stage, hippies, anti-war types and other "subversive" elements, so conservatives didn't mind too much as long as the right people were being targeted. Well, I say "didn't mind so much," what I actually meant was "were delighted"...
We were like 4 years old when he died. I’m sure we didn’t have an opinion of him at the time.

I'm sure your foul ancestors did, though...

"that last statement tells you all you need to know about their position on CRT, regardless of parents concerns"

Interesting, the statement that stood out most to me was "“disturbing spike in harassment, intimidation, and threats of violence” against educators and school board members." But I guess since these people are "responsible parents" it's OK for them to harass, intimidate and threaten violence against educators if they're teaching something the parents don't like. Can't have law enforcement "looking into" stuff like that, oh no...

Schools are public bodies run by elected officials...I'm pretty sure that the President of the United States just addressed this exact thing. Harrassment might not be "appropriate" but it is just "part of the process" apparently.

I think they should just put all politicians, amateur and professional, in jail for whatever crimes they committed to get elected or got elected intending to commit.

And threats of violence, is that just "part of the process" too?

I remember when being liberal meant you had a much higher tolerance for free speech. Now it appears some of them would prefer to use the government to squelch free speech to support their indoctrination policies as representatives of the public they serve.
Its one of two things.

They just want authority because they think they know better. And anyone who disagrees with them, by virtue of their disagreement, they have proven themselves (to the school board members) to be an ignorant monster. They refuse to debate and argue with people that they perceive as ignorant monsters. Instead, they are afraid of them. They are scared. So they opt for the government authority option to try and shut them down to shut them up so they wont be scared of the monster anymore.....

...either that (or worse) #1) Critical Race Theory is brainwashing our children and they know it, #2) there is not any logical justification for Critical Race Theory that they can use and #3) they don't want to be embarrassed in a public forum by someone who is smarter than them arguing against it. So they opt for the government authority option to try and shut them down to shut them up so they wont be intimidated by them, publicly.

So in either instance, they go to the minions of government authority.

I don't know. I think rioting is now one of the key components of a peaceful protest, so who knows?

They already won't give liver transplants to people who ruined their first liver thru drink (unless they can prove that they've been on the wagon for some significant length of time), I suppose you think that's an egregious exercise of medical authority...

no I can see wasting the organ transplant being an issue

refusing someone because of a common virus? especially with those vaccinated contracting the virus anyways.

absurd

Seems like the same situation as the liver transplant. If they're not interested in helping themselves, why should they expect society and the medical field to help them? Of course we know the answer to the latter is that the medical field is making a shitload of money on the severe cases, one way or another, but that's another issue...
