At this point there could be a youtube of Roy snorting coke off a hooker's ass while shooting a puppy and handing wads of 100 dollar bills to recruits and nothing would happen to U*NC. The BOG, NCAA, and SACS have all signed off on a decade plus of institutional academic fraud which is the core mission of the university and it's guiding bodies so a few improper benefits wont even blip the radar. I'm just enjoying the exposure of U*NC as the frauds they are and the personal exoneration of the "lunatic fringe" as being right all along.

U*NC has admitted to massive academic fraud. You had 10 football players kicked off the team for cheating, you fired the head coach that was going to take you to the BCS, you're golden boy chancellor is currently moving to Saint fucking Louis, and your administration threw academics under the bus to preserve some drapes hanging in the nose dome that the whole world now knows you cheated to get. Pray tell me exactly where have I been wrong? The only person delusional around here is you if you still think that U*NC has any credibility what so ever outside of the fevered minds of it's cult member fans. Hell, U*NC was the butt of two jokes about cheating and academics the other day on here and I'm not the one who told them.

P.J. Hairston is not expected to face any further charges stemming from his June 5 arrest at a Durham license checkpoint, according to a Durham Police Department spokesperson.

According to the incident report, police stopped Hairston and two passengers at 10:20 p.m. during a license checkpoint at 1499 Holloway Street. Police charged Hairston with misdemeanor drug possession and driving without a license.

Police also seized a 9mm handgun, a magazine with nine rounds of ammunition and a plastic bag containing 41.1 grams of marijuana that were found outside of the car. The owner of those items has not been identified.

“The Durham Police Department does not anticipate filing any additional charges in this case,” Durham Police Department spokesperson Kammie Michael wrote in an email to InsideCarolina.com on Wednesday.

Michael added that the police department would not be releasing any additional information regarding the incident.

Hairston is due to appear in district court on Aug. 6.

Hairston’s passengers, Miykael Faulcon and Carlos Sanford, were also both charged with possession of marijuana.

What we expected. No way to prove the weed or gun actually belonged to anybody in the car I guess. DS do you know if PJ and/or his friends were fingerprinted?

Far as I know it was just a citation therefore no way to trace the gun.

I'm not saying because a U*NC player was involved but imo that's pretty shitty police work to find a gun and weed outside of a car at a traffic stop and not to fingerprint anybody in the car. That only makes sense if they a strong reason to believe that the occupants had no connection and if they felt there was no connection then PJ's name shouldn't have been dragged through the mud.
