Re: Puterbac News Network and Political Discussion Thread
Most people probably do think the GOP is to blame. That's what they're told every day in the media. But most people are probably ignorant of a lot of facts that might make them feel differently about the GOP and Obama. Like the fact that Obama has not submitted a budget in his entire term as President, despite the fact that it is required by law. Of course he and the dems have pinned the blame on this on the GOP, despite the fact that the GOP only controls the House of Representatives -- and only in the last year-and-a-half. Before that, Obama and the dems controlled both houses of Congress and the WH. Still no budget. And since the GOP took over the House, they have passed budgets, only to have them shot-down by the do-nothing dem-controlled Senate.
If Obama and his propagandists in the media can continue to keep the average voter ignorant of facts like these, then they might very-well win the upcoming election. But it will be based largely on the ignorance of voters. That seems to be the way the dems like it. When it comes to voters, the dumber the better.

Harris poll March 1 - 8, 2010
Republicans who believe Obama is a socialist: 67%
Republicans who believe Obama is a muslim: 57%
Republicans who believe Obama wants to turn over the sovereignty of the United States to a one world government: 51%
Republicans who believe Obama was born outside the United States and is ineligible for the presidency: 45%
You could write a book on the dumbassery of the right-wing. Oh wait - they have. Mining the gold of Iraq attacking us on 9/11, Saddam's wmds, the Clinton murders of Vince Foster, Ron Brown, et al. The worldwide scientific hoax known as global warming (the evils of energy-saving lightbulbs!). 'Re-education camps'.
lol - any ideas of who at pnn falls into the one-world government 51 percenters

The fact that you seem to think that poll is worth posting sort of proves my point. But for anyone who isn't a mindless ring-kisser, the truth behind that 2 year-old poll can be found here...

No, they were just being honest. Sometimes it slips through.
In other news, a U.S. Marine Corps veteran has been arrested in Wisconsin at a rally hosted by the mayor of Milwaukee and featuring a visit by former-President Bill Clinton. The police report accused him of disturbing the peace and threatening the dignitaries and others with his sign, which read "Support Scott Walker, Not Union Thugs". How much you wanna bet the cops who arrested him are union members?
Anyway, here's a video. It's ironic that this vet, who served to defend the Constitutional rights of all of those protesters to assemble, is denied those same rights by the dem powers-that-be. It's also funny to listen to the protesters threaten, jeer and applaud this man being arrested for walking with a sign they don't like. Think about this the next time some lib gets on his high horse about all of the rights Republicans will take away, if elected.

4/29/11 Zogby poll taken weeks after oprama produced his birth certificate. Unlike the Harris poll, which was conducted a year earlier. And we know how pnn loves Zogby.
30% of Republicans Still Think Obama Born Abroad
Utica, NY - 16% of all voters and 30% of Republicans do not believe President Barack Obama has proven he was born in the U.S., even after release of his long-form birth certificate. a new IBOPE Zogby interactive survey finds.

If that's the case, it's a travesty. It IS one of the requirements. Any and all candidates should have to provide proof they meet basic requirements before entering the race. And that' s for all politics.Jungle Rat wrote:Nobody really cares outside of the jilted repub idiots.
