I'd wait and see about Carmelo.

Until Lin starts campaigning for Santorum or something, I can't buy the Lin/Tebow comparison. Tebow's ass has been kissed for years, to the point that people were actually talking about running a college offense in the pros to accomodate his football glory. Lin was a perennial unknown who turned into a sub-journeyman who got a break and capitalized - and he still gets to hear lame comments that try to come to terms with supposed Asian non-athleticism.

Yep, after everyone forced him to go left...

(In fairness, sans MIL, they've had a murderers row of opponents these last 6 games)

Should keep Dantoni and trade Melo. Once again the whiny ass primadonna gets his way over what is best for the team. The Knicks are idiots.

D'Antoni's not a good coach, even if Melo is not a good fit. I have been hearing rumblings of Howard being traded to NY, along with Turkey-Glue, for Melo and Chandler. That ain't a bad look...although it would pretty much solidify DWill going to Dallas.

D'Antoni's a good enough coach to make a team that talented compete in the east

alot of this is on the players, or player

difference between his tenure in Phoenix and NY..... Steve Nash.

Nash has a way of making players AND coaches look alot better than they are.

NY's problem is they signed two prima donnas who don't do what it takes on the defensive end. that line up is flawed

If the New York Knicks don't advance beyond the first round of the playoffs, I'm hearing they'll make a major — repeat, major — push to lure legendary coach Phil Jackson out of retirement.
With money being no object, the scuttlebutt is the Knicks brass may offer the "Zen Master" a four-year, $50 million deal.

It all depends on how that knee replacement went this year...

I would guess he would like to put his thumb in Jim Buss' eye and Phil is the only guy I can see replacing Woodson.

I actually started a fake Twitter feed as Mike Woodson's Goatee. I'm going to try and keep it going through NYK's Playoff run. It's too difficult, even though his goatee is a comedic goldmine.
