Anti K. in your opinion, where do you "rank" the new Pac 12 conference as a purely men's basketball conference compared to the other power 7 conferences?

• Gonzaga
• Utah State
• San Diego State
• Boise State
• Fresno State
• Colorado State
• Washington State
• Oregon State
• Texas State

Anyone? That is NOT a weak conference. Too many tournament teams in there.

I feel sorry for the schools left behind, but Cal and Stanford in the ACC demonstrates how absurd this has devolved. Any league with Gonzaga and San Diego State deserves some respect. I guess they made the most of a bad situation.

I’ll add that as a College Basketball fanatic, I miss the PAC 12 After Dark. Here’s hoping they revive that and I can actually see the games without adding my 873rd streaming service.

I don't know when they pull in St Mary's but I think they will be the next to be invited to make it even stronger.

Half the games will be Mountain Standard Time, not Pacific. Utah State won the Mountain West 2 of the last 3 years. I think Colorado State won it in 2025. So yeah, super strong conference as of right now. Good luck Washington State and Oregon State.

I find it interesting that UNLV, New Mexico, and Nevada did NOT get invites. Guess they didn't make the Pac-12 cut.

I was going to ask you that question. Not sure they have anything settled yet what with just settling the $$$$ on the Mountain West lawsuits.

I think (think) that Oregon State and Washington State were.... RICH. Very rich with Pac-12 bucks. Like hundreds of millions of dollars in "exit fees" from all the other Pac-12 schools breaking contracts. I think much of that money went to "buy off" the Mountain West conference to take all their best teams and also "buy off" the WCC to get Gonzaga. And because of that, the Pac-12 just now got its men's schedule complete (just last week) and I don't think they have the network to show the games set up yet.

Its only October. The Mountain West lawsuit wasn't even settled until August of this year!

May Booker Turner rot in Hell for all eternity. That MFer was the ref who called three quick fouls on James Worthy in the 1981 NCAA Title Game. He was also the ref who called two quick fouls on Jordan in this '84 game. Still, no excuse for Coach Smith sitting Michael for so long. One of the worst losses of my fandom.

I do have a rules question. I see alot of guys throwing the ball off the backboard to themselves then slamming it or laying it up. When I played in HS I thought I was told the ball had to hit the rim for you to get it back without it be traveling. Did the rule change or was I misinformed as a lad?
