I still haven't seen Walk the Line, Ray, or Dazed and Confused. Heard great things on all of them. I will be seeing Marky Mark's rendition of Pete Rose when it comes out tho.

Yeah. That a very depressing story. Elly already turned down $700/13 contract in the spring. The Reds are hanging their entire operation on a salary cap. I'd keep him till 28 or 29. He made 800K this year. Next years arbitration numbers are going to be insane.

We've known that Ownership is a problem for over a decade now. Until that changes or they change their philosophy, this is what we're gonna get for awhile.

Dude's voice cracked when he said "he's going to get Justin Verlander's daughter... Genivieve." I also saw someone noted that she was careful to step over the 3rd base line when they were walking off...

Verlander and Scherzer are the last two great starting pitchers.

I would’ve liked to see Cam Schlittler pitch in the pre load (of shit) management era. He’s put up some all time numbers, but how do you truly measure a starting pitcher they never let finish games?

Maybe I’m just getting old and forgetful, but I don’t remember all four playoff series starting on the same day before. Great time of year!

In Verlander’s last game, the Pirates had a bullpen game. The reliever who started was Kirby Yates. Only been with the Pirates two months. Ironically, it was his last game, too. There was a mini celebration when they took him out. Weird that both starters in a game was their last.
