Carrot Top (real name: Scott Thompson) was being extorted over a sex tape prior to his reported suicide attempt Friday, according to court documents obtained by Page Six.

Ronnie Bitman, the comedian’s attorney, claimed in a Sept. 3 filing in Broward County, Florida, that musician Brian Evans — a previous opening performer for Thompson’s long-running show at Las Vegas’ Luxor Hotel and Casino — threatened to leak an X-rated video of his client if he wasn’t paid.

“Evans demands immediate payment of significant sums and states that, absent immediate payment, a sexually explicit recording of Thompson will be filed in the public court file so that it may be obtained and disseminated by the press and other parties,” Bitman wrote, in part.

In all seriousness, when the wife and I got our wills, the attorney was useless. He fucked up every single thing in our will. When we went in to finalize it and get it notarized, we discovered that he not only fucked up who was supposed to get what, he fucked up exactly who owned what. We wrote all that down in emails, bullet points, and he was smirking at me like he didn't even fucking read it. We had to correct every single page of 34 pages of two wills. His paralegal had to retype up all 34 pages with us right there in the meeting instead of us just signing things. And why? Lawyer just "assumed" that my father in law (who did not own anything) owned everything. We did, he didn't. And he just "assumed" that we were going to inherit things from him instead of us just naming him and my mother in law as heirs incase anything happened to us!

You are better served using Legalzoom.com and have AI and algorithms just do the job of the attorney. It has a very precise interview process where it gets everything correct the first time, avoid human error. Lawyers are just humans and they fuck everything all up. Use technology, not people. Cheaper too.

Actually, the problem is more with incompetent local law enforcement. Unless the local cops actually believes that she mysteriously got her Dodge Durango fully repaired in the few hours from the crime to the time they impounded it, she should never have been arrested. If you are going to use these damn flock cameras, understand that they just provide data and YOU as the investigator have to provide the intelligence, the common sense to know if that data is of any use. In this one case, it wasn't of any use.

Trump administration proposal for the Department of Education



Ban federal student loans from students majoring in degrees that don't pay enough. Basically, no more loans for humanities degrees, arts, etc. Just a proposal that I agree with.

I mean this is why elections have consequences. The Department of Education is funded by congress but they work for whoever the President is. And there are no LAWS created by congress stipulating which bachelor's degrees get student loans and which ones don't. They surrender all that autonomy over to the DOE and the DOE works for the President, whoever the President is. So the President, by executive order, can say who gets loans and who doesn't.
