this is better than it should be

I like the stinky pinky but only up to the first knuckle, I do not want a GD thumb up there--I've told her multiple times and I always catch her when she tries to pull a fast one---it's my butthole for Chrissakes I'm gonna know--so cut out the BS.

I'm in the market for a new used car. My 2010 Buick Lucerne is starting to shiver a little when I come to a stop and take off, I took it in to get the wheels aligned, they said it needed about $5K worth of shit done to it, the car isn't even worth that much. I'll keep driving it for a few more months (it's got 225K miles on it) but I need to start looking around for something else. I don't see many Lucerne's on craigslist or Facebook marketplace (they may have quit making them). Looks like a Nissan Altima is comparable or maybe even upgrade to a Maxima. Anybody got any suggestions for a 4 door old man sedan?

If you are going Japanese, get a 2013 4 cylinder Camry for $8K and put 300K miles on it.

If you just care about basic transportation, its the only sedan to buy IMO

Also, the Lexus ES3xx series are good buys too because no one values them and they are just loaded Camry's. But the downside is they require premium gas.

Thanks for that. I rented one years ago, I kinda liked it. It looks to be about the same size and shape of the Lucerne, which I like, but I don't think I've ever owned a non-American made car. I'll keep looking..

I've rented a shitload of Malibu's and I love them

plenty of power, great gas mileage, lots of room

but you get about 130K out of them and they fall apart.

seriously though, the Altima would literally be the last sedan I would buy (sorry if anyone on here owns one)

I think the Altima is pretty much the reason Nissan is about to go bankrupt

you'd be pleasantly surprised with the Camry 4cyl though. Cruises easily at 80mph and still gets 30mpg. They haven't changed that engine in forever and its bulletproof.

What's the difference b/w a Malibu and an Impala? I drove Impala's and Caprice Classics from high school thru college and afterward, but haven't had one in over 20 years. Great cars..

I think Impala's are supposed to be the sportier/faster model , you can get a big v6 with it. The Malibu's are the smaller engine.

Gotta agree on the Camry, it’s been “that car” for 40+ years now…

GM's V-6's have sucked since they stopped making the 3.8/3800, and the V-8's are pains in the ass because of the active fuel management systems that fuck up the cams/lifters.

Buy a pre-2023 Camry or Avalon.

I don't think you'll have much choice in the future but for now the last car I'd buy is a 4 cyl turbo, direct injection motor with a cvt.

I may be buying a 2015 or newer Honda Fit with a 5 speed manual. In 2015 they bumped it up to 130HP but they added a cvt.

Our office is moving and chances are if I ever get around to actually buying a house I'll have a pretty decent commute. Having a little hatchback that gets 30mpg will be a nice option and you can pick them up for $7500 @80K miles

A Camry is great.

in March of 1963 my great grandfather asked a friend to come over and help him move a wood stove. The friend did not show up, and my great grandfather, known for being an impatient sort, decided to move the stove himself. The result was a burst vessel in his brain and a stroke, It killed him a few days later.

I was joking with my wife a few months ago telling her that I would do the same thing and she agreed, that I ended up doing stuff myself rather than wait for someone just because I either don't want to ask for help or I don't have the patience to wait for them.

last June I tore my rotator cuff and it hurt like a bitch for a good 3 months, then was tender for another 2. By December I was finally at a point where I could lift my arm without getting a twinge of pain from it.

Well today....I moved a wood stove by myself

and I'm pretty sure I tore it again, as I am sitting in here in serious pain.

goddammit

Look on the bright side. If you live until April Fools day, you know, you KNOW that you have at least another 11 months before you have to worry about your eventual demise.

Wealthy Johns busted in high end prostitution ring in Boston

12 in all, half of them are Asians. You had medical doctors, dentists, accountants. $600 an hour seems kind of pricey. Another 12 Johns in court next Friday. Those busted Johns are probably the elected officials.
