Rumor has it that the Colts have contacted Marc Bulger's agent. Why the fuck didn't they do that the first time? Why not let Painter have the reigns for a couple of games and when you bring in anyone (Collins, Bulger, etc..) they would then have at least a few weeks to get game ready and learn the offense instead of just throwing them out there like Collins.

Painter may suck but he knew the offense much better than Collins week 1. It would not have mattered but it could have against the Browns and Shittsburgh. Bringing in Bulger now would be just a waste of money. Let Painter have the offense and let Collins be the backup. Fuck, we are not going to the playoffs anyways, so what is the point.

I guess technically, and i emphasize the term "technically", Romo's condition last week qualified as a punctured lung

Thing is he flew back to Dallas from San Francisco right after the game. I'm no medical professional but I know enough to say that no fuckin way you let someone with a legit puncture board a plane and experience the associated pressure changes that come along with high altitude flight.

Ijust know the commentators are going to throw out the term "punctured lung" liberally throughout tonight's broadcast
If no one comes from the future to stop you from doing it, then how bad of a decision can it really be?

the nfl and espn just made up the "punctured" lung to make Romo look tough after the collapse in week one.

The fact that the Cowboys had to make such a miraculous comeback against the dreadful 49ers is no reason to suddenly forgive Romo's stupidity. Sorry, it is what it is. Like Matt Schaub making at least two horrible passes per half. It is what it is.

The Bengals should just move the rest of their home games to Nippert for the season. Meanwhile Hamilton County can schedule dog shows, religious revivals, international soccer friendlies, or any other event that might draw a larger crowd than Bengals football.
I was downtown yesterday afernoon. There was a few hundred people trickling into the stadium, but it wasn't like any big event was going on. Traffic was no different than any ordinary weekend day.

State will be missing all four starting DL against Gt this weekend. watch for GT's scoring record against Cumberland to fall by mid way thru the 3rd quarter.

No responsible organization would have Tony Romo out there. He's clearly struggling with his injury and the piss poor pass protection isn't helping.

And the Cowboys continue the dominance of the Deadskins.

5 of the last 6.

16-7 since 2000.

61-38-2 all time.

DS - You can root for Dallas again. No one on here will think any less of you, trust me.

Rickart - I will enjoy the Dallas victory over Deadskins but what can I say, 2-1 > 0-3. So with that said, STFU.

Why do you blitz the house on 3rd and 21 leaving Dez Bryant in single fucking coverage?

That stupid blitz call and the block field goal were the deciding plays. Dallas capitalized on the Skins' mistakes. The Skins' didn't capitalize on the Cowboys' mistakes.

I think it's safe to say after watching the last two nights of prime time football that none of the Cowboys, Redskins, Steelers, or Colts are winning the Super Bowl anytime soon.

That being said, Tampa over the Colts should be a popular survivor pool pick this week.

Hizzy III wrote:That said, even with this collapse, this team does look better, more imposing. Next year, though, they need to keep drafting defense. They need one more playmaker. They also need to keep looking to upgrade at the other CB position. Joseph did well for the most part but even he was beaten a few times. The two two-point-conversions he allowed was definitely bad.

Also, Matt Schaub needs to stop with the 4th Quarter fuckups in critical situations. That's what keeps him mired in the 2nd tier of NFL QBs.
How do you play 10 yards deep on a 2 point conversion. I was yelling at the screen before the play started.

Yes, but the Bengals beat them in Cleveland. So by definition, they must be even shittier... even if the Colts and Bengals are going to tard wrestle for the Luck pick for the rest of the year.
