Well I think the first CFP (college football poll) comes out in 2 weeks. Who are your top 4 if Cincinnati isn't in it? We can argue back and forth who is better, Georgia or Oklahoma. I guess that doesn't matter. But the best teams are all stubbing their toes and giving the Bearcats a terrific opportunity to be in the top 4. That is ALL THEY WANT to be in the top 4. They don't care which spot so long as its in the top 4.

The only reason why the Group-of-five ever agreed to the terms in the contract for the college football playoff was that they were under the impression that somehow, someday, it would be mathematically possible for one of their teams to make the top 4. Assume for one moment that Cincinnati runs the table. If this year ISN'T the year for that to happen, then no year is. Obviously, if the Bearcats lose, all bets are off. But they aren't going to lose.

They are going to the playoffs.

How many of these Bear Cat players are legitimately athletic enough to compete (equally) with players on an excellent power-five college football team? How many of these Bear Cat players did the so called "recruiting experts" fuck up, and dramatically under-estimate their true athletic ability (which in turn, denied them a power-five scholarship offer?)

Georgia runs the table until they lose by a hair in the SECCG to Alabama (who has run the table since TEXAM).

So Iowa and Okie are in. Is Cinci going to bump out UGa assuming Bammer is in by winning the SEC?
