I really want to watch Coming 2 America, this is a movie I've been waiting on for awhile

but the premise that Akeem had a one night stand with whatever character Leslie Jones plays is horrible
and it has a very Nutty Professor 2 feel to it which if true would really tarnish one of the most entertaining movies ever made.

I never watched this movie, but if you're bored and want a retro feel for early 90's movie magic, this is a fun read

I stumbled across this hoping to find reviews that said Coming 2 America was a good movie. I did not find any.

ok, I watched it, I liked it.

They knew not to stray far from what works.

Mighty Sharp and Sexual Chocolate helped it

You could tell they were aiming for a more "family friendly" vibe with this movie, and it was far more respective of acceptable societal norms in terms of jokes (whereas the original was not).

I thought it was funny. It wasn't anything close to the original, but only a fool would have thought that possible.

its tough to find a game warden that isn't a dick to people.

alot of people they interact with need to be treated badly, like poachers and trespassers, but sometimes they just go out of their way to be jerks to people.

if you guys want to watch a decent documentary, watch the Lady and the Dale. I think its on HBO

it actually creates the person as a sympathetic character when really there shouldn't be any sympathy given.

and for those you so inclined, it has Tucker Carlson's dad in it and he completely comes off looking like a dick, which btw is also his name

I was actually living in Austin when the last part of her life closed out but I don't remember any of the flower sellers on the street corners (how she made money the second part of her life)
