🤣🤣🤣🤣

Thats a good question, eCat. I have no idea if I'm back. The past few years, floating in and out like Cletus has worked for me. You do give good practical advice, so i always peek in about once a month.

All I can say is that I will be in here at least once a month. I don't know my level of engagement...sorta depends on the topic.

If you ignore me, though, I understand. Plenty of people did when I was posting everyday. 🤣

Brook may as well be a regular here compared to Cletus

I know this guy is in pain but his reaction to when the car pulls up to see if he is alright makes me laugh

Man, I don't see how that guy's torso wasn't ripped open. His body raked across the top of those metal bars pretty good. Watch it in slow motion...

Actually, maybe those aren't metal bars, you can see that the first one bends over pretty good when his body hits it. You'd think if that was metal it would've impaled him...

I am sitting here listening to my moms home health nurse ask her questions

She just asked my 87 year old mother if she tires easily, the follow up question is do you forget things more than you used to

The MIF was a home health nurse for a couple of years. She's at the local health dept. now. If I haven't gotten covid yet (although I probably have), I don't see how anybody has...

she did tell me she had both rounds of shots

she also said she was overworked because many of the home health people that got the second shot didn't feel like going into work

that was unsolicited so I assume its true since she did come out at the house at 8:30 last night

I also just got back from the local Tractor Supply (hey, when in Tennessee right?)

I didn't count how many but I was the only customer in the store with a mask, there was at least a dozen people there.

Two nights ago I was in Lowes and the woman working in the appliance department helping me didn't have a mask on, the woman working the check out counter didn't have a mask and 3 guys stocking/driving a fork lift didn't have one.

I didn't ask but it appears that this little section of TN does not give a damn about wearing masks. Completely different than home. You'd be hard pressed to find someone not wearing a mask.

In Wilson (where me and Stu live), it's hit or miss, but most people are wearing masks at the grocery store (well, at Harris Teeter anyway) or WalMark, but in convenience stores it's probably 50/50. Further east, where I work, nobody is wearing masks. It's totally a urban/rural thing, which seems to be exactly where the political lines have been drawn lately. Not sure how or why covid is a political issue, but somehow it is...

admittedly if I had the virus and recovered, of when I get the shot, I'm probably going to be less mask dedicated than I am now. I think that is just human nature.

I have not worn a mask at work the whole time this has been going on, and we've been thru 3 seasons with dozens of people coming in and out with their trucks and whatnot, and this is not that big of an office. I don't wear a mask when I stop in Pinetops on my way home from work to get a beer, either, but I did notice one guy wearing one who was about 100 lbs. overweight and was buying a 64 oz. soda and 3 packs of cigarettes. He was obviously very concerned about his health...

Most people here have been wearing masks since the end of summer. But we were up in the nontouristy part of the NC mountains last fall and nobody was wearing them

In downtown Greenville everyone is wearing them, but drive out a little bit to Pickens or Pumpkintown...Forget about it.

The part of the NC mountains where I spend the weekends is mostly mask wearing. Mostly, because alot of older retirees live there.
