Cannot get news from any site right now.....phones down....I do have ABC radio. Would greatly appreciate you guys continuing to post news updates as they are available. I can see smoke from the Pentagon, nothing from the State department. Will keep you updated if I should see anything other than racing police cars and speeding F-16's.

I have not been able to connect to any of the news .coms - currently have BBC world net on - it is interesting to hear the 'foreign' slant - the first expressions were being totally appalled and outraged - then the 'analysis' set in - most initial reactions were that the US was ripe for this type of action due to lax security in respect to the rest of the world - then came the 'discussions' on possible US retaliations/reactions and the expressed fears that the US might strike 'irrationally' - the latest ruminations concern the apparent lack of adequate intelligence to forestall this type of attack...

This is more of a policework matter right now than the military operation it will soon become. I would like to see a concentrated intelligence operation determine the people behind it (who will most likely be the countries you named) and strike with all necessary force. Just wish we hadn't recently given about $40 million in aid to the Taliban for their part on the war on drugs.
