Outch... that taser must of had some serious voltage
Last fall just about 200 yards from my house, I watched the local city police tase a guy who was resisting arrest. Guy was about 6'5" and high on something. I was standing about 15 feet from him as they tased the nut. The taser didn't even faze the dopehead. The guy turned around and confronted the cop who tased him. When he did, the other cop, who was just back from Afghanastan and now on the police force and a black belt holder, leveled the guy about as fast and anyone I've ever seen hit the ground or should I say blacktop. Both cops tried to subdue him but was having a difficult time getting the cuffs on him. Like I said, I was only about 15 feet away with my flashlight which had about a 3 lb battery attached. Was getting ready to lay the guy out with the flashlight battery if he got up from the cops, which he almost did, but they finally got the cuffs on him and took him to jail. A couple hours later after the arrest, the cop who used the taser had a heart attack and was rushed to the Morehead hospital. He's OK now. Good friend of mine... was joking with him a couple months ago about the possibility of me having to help him with that arrest. TBH, don't want to be put in a situation like that again. Tasers don't always work.
