Disagree there. The Dem obsession to impeach Trump was aspirational the day he was elected. It became operational the day the Democrats took over the House. The chances of a Democrat impeachment of Trump are 100%. But the chances of a Senate removal of Trump are 0%. This whole Ukraine witch hunt is nothing but a Democrat publicity stunt and virtue signalling writ large. The only person it will remove is Biden. That's already happening. Former CIA Director John Brennan has made the unusual move of writing a letter to all current CIA employees. The text of that letter is as follows:

Dear Employees of the Central Intelligence Agency,

As your former Director, I wish to thank all of you for the intelligence work you do each and every day to protect America. Our country's democracy is in your hands. And speaking of saving our precious democracy, I am asking as many of you as possible to take saving our democracy to the next level.

As many of you know, the greatest threat to America in our history is now infesting the White House. Some of our treasonous citizens had the audacity in 2016 to vote that loathsome creature into office. Some of us in the Agency did our best to stop him, but our efforts have not been completely successful. But we have not given up. Even now, two of our heroic colleagues have continued this patriotic work of negating a US presidential election. These two agents are bravely operating under the cover of "whistleblowers" so that our Agency can continue to actively spy on a duly elected president, leak disinformation to our partners in the House of Representatives and in the media, and rid our great nation of that insane POTUS.

But these two heroes can't do it alone. Now, in this critical hour, we need more patriotic CIA personnel to step up, and also become "whistleblowers." It's relatively easy, and can be done on company time. Just follow the following simple steps:

1. Write a letter addressed to the Honorable Adam Schiff, Chairman of the House Intelligence Committee.
2. State in that letter that you are "deeply concerned" about something that disgusting entity in the Oval Office did. State it is your "civic duty" to report it to the proper authorities.
3. For legal reasons, it is vital that you state in your letter that this is an "urgent concern," and is in accordance with the procedures outlined in 50 U.S.C. §3033(k)(5)(A). By law, this precise wording means that the House committee is required to investigate the allegation. If you have any questions or concerns about how to craft your letter, contact Mr. Schiff's office, and one of his assistants will help you out.
4. It does not matter what you are accusing that orange baboon of. Just make something up. Be creative. Here's the best part: we recently changed the rules governing whistleblower allegations. Now you do not even have to be a witness to what you are accusing that Nazi monster of. All you have to do is state that "you heard that ____" or "It is your understanding that _______" or "It is common knowledge that ________."
5. Once they receive your whistleblower allegation, there is no possibility that you might be held accountable. Our partners in the House will protect your identity as if you were the real shooter on the grassy knoll. Best of all, your complaint will be referred to the House Intelligence committee. That means your allegation will be handled behind closed doors, not in public. Our partners on the Committee will only leak those aspects of your allegation which are harmful to that KKK Grand Wizard in Chief, which we hope is all of it. By being in the Intelligence Committee, we can also limit the number traitors who oppose from even being in the room. Those traitors won't even be allowed to ask questions! We thought of everything, like all CIA ops should be.

We are asking for at least 1,000 of your patriotic CIA employees to become whistleblowers. But act fast; the enemies of the state Barr and Durham are apparently investigating some of our recent operations, so I may not be free to continue this patriotic cause much longer. Save our democracy from being hacked by a few seditious voters. We'll deal with them next.

I am also troubled about the Kurds. Other than the Israelis they are the only people in the Middle East that are willing to fight along with us. Dumping them is terrible. Anybody who decries what we are doing to them has every reason to do so. I largely agree.

The only thing that MAY be more terrible than dumping the Kurds is us staying in the Middle East forever. I love what Rand Paul (Peace be upon him) said: Only “the Neocon War Caucus” of the GOP “always wants to stay at war.”

If the result is that one thugocracy - Turkey -fights another thugocacy - Syria, and they both bleed each dry, like Saddam’s Iraq did with Iran, and Hitler’s Germany did with the USSR, then the world will be a better place.

Our military presence in Syria was the smallest of anywhere in the Middle East where we have troops. I wonder why he chose that particular cadre of troops to call in? Does it bother you that it might possibly be b/c of some financial interest in Turkey that he is trying to protect? I'm not saying that's the reason, but hypothetically, if it was, would that bother you at all, or would you just make more excuses to Trump? The sad thing is, even if that's not the reason (and it very well may be), the fact that pretty much everyone believes that it could be the reason and that many people are asking the question at all speaks to what a piece of shit Trump is...
