The NFL and NFLPA fucked them too. This was a league full of 5th rounders/free agents that could have worked. They marketed it wrong and went to big without NFL support. Not suprising he paid week by week. I would have done the same.

I might pull the trigger on a wild "giants in the superbowl" pick. Time will tell but I'm mulling it over. If it hits I will be a genius and if it doesn't no one will remember. In any case it looks like they have their next QB after Eli and the O-line looks to be legit.
