Well, if it's any consolation, you can rest assured that I won't be saying anything nice about you when you die. Hopefully sooner than later...

Remember that “bombshell” from Lanny Davis that his client Michael Cohen had proof that Trump knew about the ballyhooed “Trump Tower meeting” (where Junior diabolically met with some sinister Russian lawyers about treasonous adoption laws)?

As usual, especially for CNN, it turned out to be fake news. Lanny just admitted he made it all up.

The farce just gets more farcical.

An attorney for Michael Cohen, President Trump’s former lawyer, is backing away from confident assertions he made that Cohen has information to share with investigators that shows Trump knew in 2016 of Russian efforts to undermine Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton

Lanny probably found out his client actually had already made sworn statements to the contrary.

ROFLMAO!

Not only was Lanny lying about Cohen having proof that Trump knew about the Trump Tower meeting, he was also lying about Cohen having proof Trump colluding with the Russians against Hillary. The TDS media/Deep State hit squad keeps coming up with wilder and wilder conspiracy theories, all of which prove to be nothing but more and more fake news, which just makes them come up with even more and more wild conspiracy theories.

There have been so many THIS IS IT!!! moments for the past year that I am starting to run out of Wiley Coyote clips; they only made a few hundred of them. That may not be enough. This is truly a Golden Age.

Speaking of Lanny Davis: As if the Pee Pee dossier, which Hillary paid the Russians for, needed any further discredit, here is Lanny Davis saying the dossier claimed his client was in Prague 14 times. Lanny says emphatically that his client was never in Prague.

https://www.realclearpolitics.com/video ... rague.html

Yet this POS dossier was the justification for the FISA warrants to spy on the Trump campaign. Disgusting.

Funny, ain't it? Anybody with a functioning brain cell knows Donnie knew about the Trump Tower meeting. That Trumpers are giddy that currently there's no proof in the public domain...just another sign of the times.

The Trump meeting was a great big "so what." Junior talking to a couple of nobody Russian lawyers about adoption laws is not a crime. Even if the Russians offered oppo-research on Hillary, that is not a crime either. Hillary PAID THE RUSSIANS for a ridiculous piece fictional oppo research, but you never saw that as diabolical.

PS: If, the Great Trump Tower Meeting of 2016 had resulted in a long extended negotiation between Junior and the Russian lawyers, and the meeting had ended with Junior cutting a six figure check in return for the Russians producing a piece of oppo research that included tales of Hillary and the Russian women’s gymnastics team, would THAT have made the meeting okay?

Democrats/Hillary voters accusing Trump and the Republicans of “a culture of corruption” is like the Catholics accusing the Methodists of pedophilia.

Remember how we were all told by the smart people that logging and mining jobs were gone and never coming back, so all those dirty miners and loggers should stop destroying the planet and just go out and get IT jobs?

https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.cnbc.c ... trump.html

Remember how we were all told by the smart people that manufacturing was now a thing of the past, and all those grubby factory workers should just go to law school?

Happy Labor Day.

Logging is more mechanized than ever. They may produce more, but with the normal progression of efficiency and mechanization, increased output doesn’t necessarily equate to a proportional increase in labor. Most intelligent, educated people understand this.

There is a need for specialized, skilled, technical labor, but the levels of manual labor you see in mining, logging and manufacturing will never return to the days of past like you buffoons delude yourself into believing will occur.

Maybe we could let in more Mexicans to help mechanize...

Yes, us dumb old hayseeds just don’t appreciate the inherent superiority of our intellectual betters. JD’s are now experts in forestry. Do those forestry machines count as employees in the term “job growth”?

Of course foresters use machines. I’ve watched them cut down commercial trees on my farm by the hundreds. Duh. But the number of people people who are EMPLOYED by wielding those machines has gone up considerably in the past 18 months, which was the point. A genius with a law degree would know that.

DS, come on down to Elbert County GA with me some time. I’d like to introduce you to the guy who cuts down my trees. He’s only a high school graduate, so you can explain to him what a intellectually inferior hillbilly he is, and how he is not now, nor will he ever (or maybe should never) make a living and raise his family by cutting down trees as a forester. His improved job prospects are just a figment of his imagination. The reason this is so is because he uses a big machine. You would know these kinds of things, after all. You’re a lawyer.

You flat earthers act like Trump is replacing all of these lost low tech manufacturing, mining, forestry or whatever sort of job that required more raw man power prior to current advancements, and he is not doing that and can’t do that.
