The original broker's website crashed from all of the traffic, so he moved it to a bigger site.

George Zimmerman tried a second time Thursday to auction off the firearm he used to kill 17-year-old Trayvon Martin in Florida four years ago after the first listing on a different gun-selling website was removed before bidding began on the "piece of history."

Zimmerman told the Orlando Sentinel that the original site, gunbroker.com, was not "prepared for the traffic and publicity surrounding the auction of my firearm. It has now been placed with another auction house."

He listed the Kel-Tec PF-9 9mm firearm Thursday afternoon for auction on unitedgungroup.com.

The original listing on gunbroker.com was pulled and replaced by a message, without elaboration: "Sorry, but the item you have requested is no longer in the system." Until that point, the page had been viewed more than 185,000 times.

Zimmerman said in the both listings he was "honored and humbled" to announce the sale of the weapon and set the bidding to start at $5,000. Similar firearms normally sell for around $200.

My guess is he gets $20K+. Either from a typical RWNJ who wants to display it or from a rich lib who wants to destroy it.

You make his point. If George Michael or Sen. Craig had only taken a piss/used the facilities, they wouldn't have been arrested. Sex acts in a public place are prohibited, period eos. Straight or gay. Duh.

And - straight or gay - if you accost somebody in a public facility you're subject to arrest. Those laws are already on the books. The rest is just a solution in search of a problem (aka a typical GOP talking point/wedge issue).

Yeah I see not much has changed except the left has moved further to the left. The issue is not that some truly confused transgender with a dick is going to go into the girls bathroom and assault actual girls. The issue is you are making it easier if not legal for ANY male to go into a girls bathroom simply because they SAY they are trans when they aren't. How is this not a HORRIBLE HORRIBLE idea? Yes it is still illegal to film or assault, but you just made it EASIER to occur.

Explain to me how the mechanics of this are supposed to work:

Will target have a greeter asking gender status? No. Will there be any way to confirm a person is trans other than what they say? No. Will any male be able to simply walk into a girls bathroom under the pretext of simply saying they are trans? Apparently so. This is a recipe for disaster as there are already plenty of stories out there of men following girls/woman in to bathrooms and either upskirting, assaulting, and/or raping them. Now you are making it LEGAL for these predators to go in and scope it out and decide whether to act or not. It is insanity. You are making it EASIER for women and girls to be assaulted and it opens up Target and others to huge liabilities when it occurs, and it will occur. When it does, I hope target gets sued out of business. Do we now need the Guardian Angels outside the bathrooms in all public places?

We have three daughters under 12. We allowed the oldest and even the two youngest if together to go to the bathroom in a restaurant by themselves. Not now. Either the wife will go with or I will stand outside waiting for them. If an obvious dude tries to go in the girls bathroom while they are in there, he will be pointed to the mens room. Consequences be damned.

How is this BS supposed to work in schools? Again how will they determine if someone is trans or not? Will there be psyche exams? Or will the LBGT terrorists threaten to sue because nobody should have to prove who they are and the admins will cower like a buncha pussies? How can you possibly think its okay for a person with a dick to be in the girls locker room and saying they must be allowed to change and watch others change and shower naked with girls? I can't believe this is even remotely considered and that the damn feds are threatening states over it.

But this is what happens when you have an out of control behemoth such as the feds who force people to pay taxes under penalty of law, and then have the audacity to demand that states act a certain way to get some of their money back.

They even cited sports and how not allowing trans boys (is that the one with a dick or not?) to go out for a girls team could be against the law. Yeah females are going let Juwanna man on thier teams without a fight.

Its just stunning.

If we can't prohibit men from entering women's bathrooms, then can we prohibit them from entering the STALLS with women? After all, the men who think they are women might feel "uncomfortable" if they are denied their constitutional right to enter stalls and watch real women sit down and pee. And we certainly can't let men who think they are women feel "uncomfortable."
