And look at the meat on that upper right arm. That's not an arm you'd want to be headlocked by (a fact of which his boy is no doubt painfully aware)...
I want someone's ass blistered in the middle of Thanksgiving Square.

He's worn that helmet since 3rd grade.

from the second picture , if you're wondering how it works, the upper knot catches on the main support rope from your weight, the foot loop also catches from weight, so to move up the rope, you step into the foot loop to straighten out your body (raising you up the rope and relieving pressure on the upper knot) and while you do that you raise the upper knot up the rope. So at that point you are parallel to the rope with the upper knot above your head, the you use the harness to get into a sitting position to relieve pressure on the foot loop and bring the foot loop up the rope you so can step into it again.

You raise yourself about 18 inches each time that way.

To lower yourself you loosen the foot loop and then pinch the upper knot. The harder you clasp the more give it has and your body weight slides you down the rope.

We looked up what it costs to get a starting setup. The harness is about $80. The helmet, if you think its necessary is about $60 and then you'll need a heavy duty rope for about another $60.

The two knots are variations of a Blake's Hitch which with a little practice you can learn to tie.

it was $35 to screw around for 2 hours.
I like the stinky pinky but only up to the first knuckle, I do not want a GD thumb up there--I've told her multiple times and I always catch her when she tries to pull a fast one---it's my butthole for Chrissakes I'm gonna know--so cut out the BS.

It seems for that tree all you need is a ladder to get you to that first branch and then you're set.

It looks like the pulley system set up is more for handicap people who want to climb trees.

true

but you're trying to learn the technique here that can be applied to less climber friendly situations.

well since I'm blowing my deductible out of the water this year, I went ahead and scheduled them to put a camera up my ass.

If he has to do some snippy snippy while he is up there violating me, I want insurance to cover it.

Absolutely not. The only way that happens to me is if I'm under major sleepy drugs.

The single biggest problem in communication is the illusion that it has taken place.

The night of 1000 waterfalls should be fun for Ecat. This should be a good story.
Sure, I've been called a xenophobe, but the truth is, I'm not. I honestly just feel that America is the best country and the other countries aren't as good. That used to be called patriotism.

It won't if yours is like mine. They'll call that "additional surgery" and you'll get the bill.

your story is why I'm doing it - I've hit my deductible this year.

so my dog bit my neighbor tonight

This guy has tried for the past 2 years to pet this dog. We've told him to not do it twice and he still tries. Tonight he was in his yard, walked across the street, while my dog was barking at him, stuck his hand in the fence and my dog nipped his finger and drew blood.

I wasn't there, but my daughter saw it. I haven't heard from him but now that my dog has bit someone I can't take the chance of a school kid walking by and doing the same thing so this weekend I'm going to build a dog run in my yard that will keep them away from the road.
