Brennaman on Lachey: “Did you know Nick Lachey had two solo albums out? That’s OK. America didn’t know either.”

After ATM's extensive propaganda campaign, I'm thinking of watching this "Game of Thrones" thing, but if it sucks, he's being held accountable (although he could redeem himself by fixing the automatic login feature and correcting the mascot fight question...)

I hadn't thought about watching it but he keeps talking about it so I went and got a season pass on Tivo for it.

It better be good because its in competition with The Cleveland Show and Family Guy

Excellent first episode, was exactly what my expectations would be for it. I dunno, how those not familiar with the story will take it, its got so many characters and plots that it will probably be 3 or 4 eps before newbies will be able to really follow whats going on.

I wonder if they'll change the opening sequence every time. They showed King's Landing, Winterfell, The Wall, and Pentos which were the locations in this episode. It wouldn't make sense to show Pentos in the opening intro apart from this episode, so I'm thinking they change it every time.

Peter: Life is full of big decisions, like deciding if you're going to masterbate

Lois: Peter, I'm going to go get Stewie at daycare, I'll be back in 5 or 10 minutes

Peter: Well which is it!

It was interesting enough, although maybe a little too much incest. Does everyone fuck their sister in this thing or what? Not entirely sure who all the different groups are either, although I see ATM has laid the groundwork to further his agenda on this topic by declaring that it may take "3 to 4 weeks" for those unfamiliar with the works to figure it all out.

I think episode 4 will be about the point where things are just happening and you wont have as much groundwork laying who's who and whats happened over the past 30 years. The next couple weeks there'll be even more characters to introduce at the capital and at the wall.
