okay so with Wilson, do the Badgers go 12-0 (beat Nebraska and Ohio State?) If not, what difference does it make since they were probably going to win 10 without him?

Wilson had a couple of games last year (ECU, Clemson) where he threw interceptions at crucial times. if he doesnt do that at Wisky, the badgers can go 12-0.

Well, we are not really going to find out how much of a true difference he makes until October 1st. Get past Wizzes team and Talent's team on Halloween, then at least one of the teams in the Big-Ten Championship will be 12-0.

There's been some speculation that the B1G may start trying to arrange schedules more along the lines of the SEC, with more conference games coming in the first weeks of the season, rather than having almost all Sept be OOC games. Wisconsin's schedule next year will look more like in the SEC, with BYU coming in early November

The NonConference
LSU (Houston) (10-3)
Western Illinois (4-8)
Bowling Green (10-4)
South Florida (2-10)
Wisconsin takes on a tough opponent and then three teams that could possibly stink. It's unclear how competitive BG will be with their new coach; South Florida was mostly awful but played well against Central Florida and Cincinnati
Grade: B-/B

wow. Andersen goes 13-3 in two seasons of 'B1G' play, wins the 'B1G' West division this year, appears in the 'B1G' title game this year....and immediately bolts for a 5-7 Pac-12 school.

Complained that academic standards were too high at Wisky to get the players he wanted and that they would not give his assistants the type of pay he requested.
Assistant pay is a legit complaint. Other than OSU and Michigan, the other Big Ten schools are way behind in waht they pay their assistants. And that's in spite of Wisconsin being one of the wealthiest athletic depts in the country.
Not sure how proud Oregon State should be about their implied admissions policies.
