Akron has fired head coach Rob Iannello after two wildly unsuccessful seasons. This isn't particularly interesting news. What's interesting here is that Akron might be looking to hire Jim Tressel to replace him.

Akron's having a hard time finding anyone. Just got turned down by Paul Winters, an alum, who's head coach at D-II Wayne State
