the bigger problem is that fans to some degree are holding the NFL accountable for Kaepernicks actions.

Ratings for the NFL were down last year even if attendance was not. There are many factors but Kaepernick was certainly one of them.

Will a team take a chance on him? I don't know but owners and Goodell still have fresh memories of trying to explain away why ratings were down (or not meeting projections at least) without placing blame on a political landmine.

The NFL is a private business. If the behavior of one of their employees is causing financial harm to one of their franchises, that franchise has every right to act.

Kaepernick does not have any inherent right to act in a way that is harmful to his employer, especially on that employer's time and money. If he wants to make political statements, he can do it on his own time and in front of TV cameras HE paid for. None of us think we can poop on our boss's desk and not pay the price. Neither should Kaepernick.

If Kapernick could throw and play like Tom Brady, he would be on a team. Period.

True. If your performance brings millions to your employer's coffers, you CAN poop on your boss's desk and get away with it.

That is most assuredly not the case with Kaepernick.

Was that UCLA/A&M game the biggest comeback in history?

Has anybody ever seen Paul Johnson and Doc Watson in the same room at the same time?

A coincidence? I think not.

I wish I would have stayed up to watch that UT game. Didn't seem like much was happening early on so I went to bed

damn, season is already over 2 games in

I don't think they even tried to throw to AJ in the second half.

If our OC has a job next week, fire the entire coaching staff

The Steelers and Bengals are very much alike except for one thing, Ben Rothlisberger. Both teams are undisciplined and suspect on D. If we didn't have Big Ben, we'd be at the bottom.

apparently Bengals fans were being talked down to for booing Dalton after the first game.

It would appear the Dalton supporters have scattered to the wind after this game

reports that Cinci's OC is now unemployed.

Lewis will be at the end of the season.

In the meantime after the Buffalo game he will replace Dalton with McCaron in a desperation move.

McCarron is still in the league?

And given his career trajectory, is Katherine Webb still married to him?
