That video was good in that sappy way that you just can't help but like (or I can't, anyway), but it wasn't as good as the autistic kid who went off from behind the arc. "Hot as a pistol!"

Crean instructing his players to flop if Minnie players move elbows... disgsusting.

"with my assignment being to collect the Duke coach at his hotel. Coach K promptly broke wind upon getting in my car, and I rolled down the windows before I asked him about a kid who dunked on his team during the Christmas tournament"

I think I may have enjoyed listening to Tyron Brunson's Sticky Situation more than the article

Here's what Izzo said on Jan. 21:

"I am very concerned about the elbow to the head rule….I'm baffled by the rule, I don't understand the rule.

"If you hit somebody in the head, it's automatic. If it's a basketball play, that thing (rule) has to be seriously looked at.

"It's gonna cost somebody a conference championship, advancement in the NCAA tournament.

"Coaches, we're gonna find a way to circumvent. Pretty soon we'll be coaching how to flop or stick your face in there instead of your hand.''

Zeller didn't fake taking a blow to the head against Michigan State — but the alleged hand to the groin was enough for Crean to convince officials to stop play for with 2:22 left, the Spartans up 66-63, Breslin Center roaring, and Zeller doubled over wearing an expression of pain.

Vitale, in his postgame breakdown, said the play factored heavily into the Hoosiers' win.

"Michigan State had the crowd in it, momentum, the place was going nuts,'' Vitale said on the Feb. 19 ESPN telecast. "Nix scored inside, they got four quick points as far as lead, 67-63, (actually 66-63) and then all the sudden had that contact with that controversial play with Zeller.

"He (Nix) goes out of the game…(Michigan State coach) Tom Izzo takes him out, and I think that broke up the momentum,'' he said. "And it gave the edge to Indiana, because the crowd, they went to the monitor, it took time, and it just quieted everyone down.

Chad Ford updated his Big Board. Here’s where he puts the Cats:

2. Nerlens Noel
12. Alex Poythress
13. Willie Cauley-Stein
19. Archie Goodwin

Can't argue with Noel, but you've gotta be kidding on the rest of the bunch. Goodwin top 20?? Ridiculous.

The real question is about #18 and #20. If the draft class is weak, then any slot below 8 or 9 is a crap shoot.

Greatest college hoops team ever?? '96 UK team finally gets rings. No doubt Pitino was too cheap to give them out.

No. 1975-76 IU team has something to say about that.
