C''mon! It was only 4 Americans. Hell, illegal aliens killed 6 times that amount today. And besides the president promised justice for those responsible. The guy that made the film that caused this is still locked up. What more do you want?

Pshaw. It's not like he caught bin Laden or anything.

Sooo, driving a truck bomb up to a military barracks in 1983 is equal to penetrating an embassey in 2012....technology and communications are/was the same after all.....and forget the calls for more security that went unheeded in 2012 because as has been stated many many times before, the One had killed bin Laden...also there were no videos to enrage the truck bombers....btw where there drones seeing the action in real time in 1983?

Only in the bizarro world of Obammer and his enabling media and his knob gobbling useful idiots.

Beirut - Romney [sic] 200 kia
For this to be anything like Benghazi, Reagan would need to have denied the Marines the security they needed. But Reagan sent them a battleship. They you'd need Reagan to spend the next week running around claiming the bombing of the marine barracks was caused by an unorganized mob understandably enraged because of video.
9/11 - Bush 3800 kia
For this to be anything like 9/11, the World Trade Center would need to have expressed serious concerns to the Bush administration that they were deeply worried about terrorists flying highjacked aircraft into their buildings, and airlines asking for skymarshalls to protect against that threat. Then in the middle of the attack, Bush would have to have had the military means to stop the attack in progress, but chose not to. Then Bush would need to spend the next week running after 9/11 around telling everybody 9/11 was caused by a public demonstration understandably enraged by a video.
Iraq - Bush 33,000 kia and wounded
For this to be anything like Benghazi, the overwhelming amount of evidence presented to Bush before the attack by all the intelligence services in the world would need to be that there was no WMD in Iraq. This would be the opposite of Benghazi, where the overwhelming amount of evidence from multiple military, diplomatic and military sources was that the attack on the consulate was a pure and simple terrorist attack, and there was no unruly mob at all.

So other than the fact that the Beirut barracks bombing and 9/11 and Iraq are all preposterous comparisons to Benghazi, you are spot on.

2/14/2006-

The White House sought with little success on Monday to quell an uproar over why it took the better part of a day to disclose that Vice President Dick Cheney had accidentally wounded a fellow hunter in Texas on Saturday and why even President Bush initially got an incomplete report on the shooting.

Just a paragraph in week-long front page coverage by the NYT in 2006....no one died. My how times change.

lmao

You always run to Cheney's monkeyfuck with a shotgun. Why don't you let it go? It may have been almost clever the first two or eight times.

It's kind of sad to how far tick is going to defend/ignore Libya. Tick to the seals dad, "to bad so sad. Maybe have another son to take his place?"

Somebody denied the requests. Either it was low level folks which is extremely unlikely or it was passed far up the chain of command and question is who made that decision and why?

Dispatching an ac130 gives you flexibility of having air support if you choose to. Doesn't mean you have to pull the trigger when it's on station.

I believe every decision made was passed through a political filter as the admin was trying to run out the clock in the 3rd qtr. they didn't want to have any kind of desert one fiasco and were uber conservative and refused to send help. They then tried their damnedest to blame some crazy video for a "spontaneous" attack (with mortars?) to avoid saying their was a terrorist attack.

Lies lies and more lies. The American people would never criticize the cinc for helping other Americans being attacked, but this admin doesn't understand this at all.

In a reversal from its position four years ago, the Des Moines Register endorsed Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney over President Barack Obama.

The endorsement of Romney by the Register, an influential newspaper in the battleground state of Iowa, marks the first time the paper has endorsed a Republican since siding with Richard Nixon in 1972.

The Register's editorial board attributed its decision to the belief that Romney is better suited to help pull the economy out of the doldrums.

Ah, trying to equate an honorable man who simply wasn't a very good president with an outright criminal who brought so much shame to the office of the president and to the country in general that he had to resign in disgrace. I knew you were a dumbass, but I didn't realize you're also retarded...
