Dammit, I can't find it now and I don't want to look up a bunch of other spoilers.
the gist is that they are all already infected and will all be zombies when they die. Everybody has the disease, a zombie bite isn't what makes you a zombie, it just kills you
Let's pretend for a moment that zombies are real (as if half of you weren't already daydreaming about that very thing). Have you noticed how most zombie movies take place only after the apocalypse is in full-swing? By the time we join our survivors, the military and government are already wiped out, and none of the streets are safe.

There's a reason the movie starts there, and not earlier. It's because the early part, where we go from one zombie to millions, doesn't make any sense.
Interesting....Ijust read a theory (likely spoiler from the comic) about how Zombie Apacalypse could occer in The Walking Dead.
I guess in the comic all the dead rise, regardless of if they are infected directly by another zombie (unless they died from brain trauma.)

that's also what most fans speculate that the CDC guy whispered to Rick in the season 1 finale

and it might explain why you can never ever completely get rid of them (like cockroaches) but it still doesnt explain how the whole world went to shyt and how the government & military was toppled

Apparently they've already made some changes from the comics for the Walking Dead tv series, but Kirkman (who writes the comics and is a producer on the TV series) seemed to hint strongly in last weeks "Talking Dead" that that bit about the zombie-pocalypse is the same in the comics and TV series. (Someone sent in a question asking "Why are all those dead people in the cars not shambling around as walkers?" and Kirkman's response was "They were in car wrecks, so those bodies likely have head trauma."
while we were waiting for him to go catch the bus this morning, I introduced my son to Beavis and Butthead.

We only watched about 10 minutes but I think he is now hooked.

btw, here is the first video they watched - who the fuck does this to a little kid?

Ok, not Tommy Davidson, but still...

So, who watched Grimm? I didn't feel that Happily Ever After show...but heard Grimm was good.

(just watched "Cyrus" on HBO On Demand this weekend, pretty good movie)

I'm gonna try out Grimm this evening. I like Once Upon a Time so far. Not extremely well written but seems entertaining enough.
