From what little I've seen, I'm not sure they do any blocking.
Grobe is gone, I'm not aware that Clawson runs a similar offense. Cut blocking is usually used by run-heavy offenses, and WF is averaging like 1 yard per carry on the season.

Sloppy game by the offense. Wake with 75 yards through 3.33 quarters, but the offense has been very uninspired. ND hasn't looked great today either but they may mudstomp us if we don't get in sync.
Last year we were virtually injury-free, and we're making up for it in spades this year as players are dropping like flies. Lack of experienced depth is causing a lot of our issues.

Yep, Rashad, one of the best receivers in the country, has a concussion but will probably be back against ND, Barron, the starting center, is out for the rest of the season with a broken hand plus several of the younger defensive linemen are dinged up and the depth is lacking. If we beat ND we will still have to beat Louisville and scUM away and UF at home. I doubt if we have 50/50 odds at finishing undefeated, however hope springs eternal.

Hope got a little help this week with 2, 3, and 4 all losing...

What really got a little help is the chance that we could make the playoffs with a loss. With all the teams that lost today (especially in the NFL East - I mean, SEC West), and the understanding that most of them will lose again, the chances of FSU getting in with a slipup got much greater. Surely the returning Heisman winner and defending champs would have more cachet than a one-loss B1G or Big-XII champ, if mental tiebreakers were invoked.
Of course with ESPN goobers like Robert Smith trumpeting their opinions (TCU - heh).

LOL - chick on ESPN actually said "The Seminoles struggle and take Wake Forest down to the wire."
A 40 point victory in which FSU outgained Wake 475-126...it's just comical at this point.

I hope Jameis goes in dry on Notre Dame's asshole. Then again, that bunch of pedophile cocksuckers might like that. Fuck Notre Dame. Fuck that bullshit luck of the irish. Fuck our defense. Fuck that stupid throw by Marquise Williams. Fuck that officiating crew. Fuck Brian Kelly. I hope that dead team manager comes back to life and chokes Kelly with his own shit.

The Gamecocks didn't play ND last Saturday.

Jameis is supposedly being named as signing things for the same company that Gurley did.

I love Jimbo's answer. This whole signing things for a few dollars is silly.

I've been singing that song since 1993. Glad to gave a chorus behind me now.

No, he really isn't. The
ONLY connection is that the "authenticator" (who is apparently a fraud anyway) has several hundred Winston items as well as several hundred Gurley items, so people are trying to connect dots that exist in another universe. Gurley was specifically named by a former memorabilia dealer as being paid by him for autographs. BTW, the dealer is a confirmed Gator fan - if he had paid Winston as well as Gurley, why the hell would he not have named Winston as well?
BTW, the same "authenticator" has several hundred Marcus Mariota items as well. Why is his name not being drug through the mud?
Tajh Boyd, Jadeveon Clowney, and SEVERAL others went through the same investigative process last year, but only Manziel was
specifically named as being paid, so he was the one punished (for a half of football - less than you get for screaming an internet meme in the student union).

I don't know anything about the guy, but #FSUTwitter found this description of his unethical practices from several years ago -
http://haulsofshame.com/blog/?p=6635
It has also been estimated that Winston signed over 10,000 items before and after baseball games last spring. For free. And that's just at the baseball games. I can't imagine there is anyone in sports today that works harder to accommodate his fans.

Well, if the items the authenticator have are forged, it should come out, because the stuff he has isn't random fan stuff, supposedly. Things like 100 mini helmets, and 70 identical Nole footballs, and the like. Wonder if this violates his state's fraud laws if he did fake it or colluded with a third party to do so? Some reports say there are 340 items and some say 900. Quite a disparity.
How exactly does he 'authenticate' them anyway? Also, is there a website or storefront where these things are for sale?
And, for the record, I've never been a fan of going after athletes this way. You can find signed memorabilia for sale for any college star. If you suspend players because you find these things, then I am about to buy 300 TAMU footballs and sign Kenny Hill's name to it and send to the authenticator.

I'm not trying to allude that the authenticator faked anything here, just that his "good name" has been challenged in the past.
I'm quite sure that these big college football stars have friends who ask them to sign hundreds of items, then turn around and sell them to dealers. Some probably share the money with the kids, some don't. Did Winston have that done here? His judgement has never been described as perfect so it wouldn't surprise me. Gurley was just dumb or naive enough to (apparently) get paid directly and that's his downfall.
In addition, there are CONSTANTLY people representing charities (real or fake) who ask these kids to sign hundreds of items to raffle off, and turn around and sell them.
The thing that is frustrating about dragging Winston into it is that (as far as I know) NO ONE has accused him of taking payment for his signature. People are just accusing him because somebody said he paid Gurley, and that's ridiculous. There's a guy on Atlanta radio today (Carl Dukes) advocating that Jimbo should sit Jameis out this weekend. WHAT THE FUCK FOR? HE HASN'T EVEN BEEN ACCUSED OF SELLING HIS SIGNATURE! Again, why is no one accusing Mariota when he has just as many signed items out there?
I just searched eBay and found an Amari Cooper signed jersey and a signed helmet for sale. Why the hell is Saban not suspending him? Oh, there's one signed by Derrick Henry too - what kind of program is that man running down there?

THIS WEEK IN BB GUN HEADLINES
North Carolina State (27) suspended seven players for the Wolfpack’s game at Louisville on Saturday, including two defensive starters. The reason: an off-campus BB gun battle. Last week East Carolina suspended three players for firing BB guns near a school. And that came after four players toting BB guns were suspended at Kentucky for the Wildcats’ game against South Carolina on Oct. 4 – an incident that put the entire campus on lockdown after a report of shots being fired in the dorms.
And so it seems clear that BB gun usage is both popular among college football players, and frowned upon by college administrations.
Except – and this may shock you – there is no frowning at Florida State.
You probably read about the Seminole BB gun battles that reportedly caused $4,000 of damage in 2012, and have continued into 2014. Mr. College Hijinks Himself, Jameis Winston, was involved in the 2012 incident. The June 2014 battle resulted in three players being charged with misdemeanor criminal mischief, according to The New York Times.
But suspensions at FSU? Not so much.

True, but the NCSU incident happened on campus, and Winston's did not.
Also, he was redshirting at the time of his incident, so it wouldn't have made much difference if Fisher had suspended him or not. The "2014 battle" didn't involve Winston. But perhaps he should be punished for past transgressions now....it's the only way to appease the dumb masses.
