Jackass I didn't disagree with you about the flag being late.
but when you watch the replay the body makes contact before the ball gets there. The DVR does wonders.

Fuckin refs.

Nice of our defense to come alive during the last half of that drive. They better keep playing like that. So far, watching our defense has been like watching molasses drip during winter time. I think our defense is pretty slow. They need to make them run a bunch of wind sprints next week.

So far what scared me the most about our team has came true: they are slow to start.

And damn you Palardy for missing that easy FG!!

Good news it looks like our defense is comming alive.

Bad news is it's to little to late.

It's the beginning of the second quarter?

No, it clearly did not. You can't defend a play any better than that. I agree that it's close but his hand never touched his back and he cleanly went around and defended the ball. It was a very nice play.

It's not that he missed the call. It's that his first reaction was that there was no foul, then after the play is completely over and they are running back to the huddle the gator player complains and the flag comes out.

That's what was so wrong with it. Not that he got the call wrong, that he called it the way he did. Even if he believed the foul occured you don't throw the flag that late. You just missed it.

I have never heard of that? Illegal wedge?

Okay, BOJ. It's not like it is nothing new that you would not see something questionable. The thing that you and I agree on is the flags shouldn't come so late.

It's official, we have lost Hunter. Season over. He's all we had.

We can't even make a FG.

What is the injury? MCL? ACL? Anyway, it is a shame.

Are those guys crazy? That didn't look clean either. Good call on the PI on UF too.

Honestly I thought that call was iffy too. He got there early and made contact early unlike the other one, and he may have had his right hand on him too. Not as clean as the other one but still not a bad play IMO and a little ticky tack.

The difference is the flags were out immediately.

Thats what the rule says. Illegal contact when the ball is in the air, BOJ. By the way Nice TD on our blown defense.

And our secondary will keep you guys in this game by continuing to get those unnecessary penalties. Or Brantley continuing to throw into those situations.

Yeah I know what the rule is. I'm saying that I agree he got there early but in real time it was so hard to tell that I think it was ticky tacky.

I don't agree that the other one got there early, and in real time it looked clean to the ref who waited until after they were going back to the huddle to throw a flag asked for by a gator player.

You can't have the appearance of that kind of inpropriety.

Wow a way way late flag again.

Hey if you are blocked out I thought it was leagal. I thought it was only illegal if you stepped out on your own. Good call if you can't catch the ball even if the defender knocks you out of bounds, bad one if it's only illegal if you step out on your own.

Florida has gotten most of the calls this game but it hasn't been a poorly called game then at the end he lets the official have it.

Look for it to get really bad now cause these SEC refs will be scared of Florida.

Apparently someone threw a hat before the flag.

No doubt they're ticky tacky calls, but that is the way these pricks are some times.

Scared of UF? Have you lost your mind? That must be why we have more penalties then UTn in this game?

Yeah, I don't remember the rule on that one but I am pretty sure it used to be legal if you were shoved out of bounds by the defender but illegal if you just stepped out to get around the defender.

He was clearly bumped OOB, but I don't know what the rule for it is exactly.

Pretty well called game so far IMO except for a couple of bad PI's one for each team.

Looks like we are abandoning the run game for the rest of the game. Look for some screens in the second half.
