"there is NO reason to be standing on the corner at 2AM just hanging the fuck out"

What if you're buying drugs? That helps the economy...

What if you just left the club and you're saying goodbye to your friends? What if you live right up the block and you're going home separating from your buddies going in the other direction. What if you are a singing group practicing your music? What if you are playing four-square?

The police better have probable cause to search me and doing so just because I'm talking to buddies on the corner isn't enough.

I agree. But you're still going to get hassled.

The problem is, no matter what scenario you describe, the second to last question is always going to be "what the fuck were you doing out at 2am for?" (and if you do, don't wear a hoodie)

Respectfully sir, it is my constitutional right (translation from cop speak: none of your fucking business). I have every right as an American to be on this street at this point in time. More than that, you need probable cause.

You do and you can

but the police are still going to slow down and put a spotlight on you if you are in a high crime area. And at 2am no one is exempt from this. They'd do it to me just as much as they'd do it to anyone else.

I don't support them stopping you and frisking you without probable cause, but its foolish to believe that they are just going to go by and not take notice.

If you're not doing anything wrong it shouldn't be a problem.

High yella appear white. Redbone have red undertones or as my mother and uncle have red hair

I don't know why you guys are zeroing in on 2am and standing on a corner. One guy was stopped eight different times while walking home to his building. It's highly myopic to frame this argument on a 2am scenario, as if that's what we are talking about. So that we are clear, this policy happens at all hours to people stationary and mobile...usually in lower income areas, predominantly to black and brown people.

Most of the mass shooting perps are/were white males. How about that demographic gets frisked going into malls, schools or public plazas at the law's discretion?

Shameful display by this board's libertarians.

I think I'm the only Libertarian and I've said repeatedly that SandF should not be tolerated.

I'm saying from a common sense standpoint, if you are out at 2am, everyone is a suspect, and you're going to get hassled by the police.
