Hogwash. If there were something there, Mitt would be running commercials 24/7 on Embassygate and his minions in the House would demand a special session on November 2 to hold hearings.
There is obviously something there. The State Dept knew within hours of the Benghazi attack that this was no case of protesters, driven mad by a videotape. The tapes show there wasn't even a protest. Obama's own State Dept. had the videotape of the attack for crying out loud, showing it for the terrorist attack it was. They had the debriefings of those who survived the attack, saying there was no protest before the terrorist attack. They knew RPG's and mortars were used - not exactly the kind of weapons carried by your run of the mill protestors.

Yet for an entire week, Rice/Clinton/Obama were out there peddling the lies about the "protest" for purely political reasons. And the the congressional hearings are on the way.

An ambassador died, Obama lied.

Yeah so Oprama doesn't want the military to vote. That's the only "restriction" in the whole deal, oprama supressing the military vote.

Maybe soldiers in combat zones should form ACORN chapters to make sure their votes don't get shredded.

Bullshit. The Ohio GOP was trying to give military members extra privileges while cracking down on the ability of civilians to vote.

Romney thought he had a winner with the Libya crisis but Obama just obliterated him on it. Audience cheering Obama (and yes, that's against the rules. Republicans will be crying nonstop about it tomorrow)

I'm not sure who (if anyone) won this debate. But I am completely sure that Obama didn't lose it. He definitely stopped the bleeding from the last debacle.

I knew Obama would come out swinging, but since that isn't natural for him, I thought his aggressiveness might come across as clumsy and phony. It didn't. If anything, he looked slightly more composed and natural than Romney, who argued with Candy Crowley over Roberts Rules of Order once too often.

This might be the night Obama saved his reelection.

Conservatives are going to be bitching about:

1) The questions. Too many Obama-friendly questions.

2) The moderator. Spoke back to Romney. Didn't let him do what he want. Absurd

3) The audience. Dumb questions by dumb New Yorkers. Laughed at Obama's jokes but didn't laugh at Romney. Kept breaking the rules. Applauded Obama twice. Bullshit! Unfair!

Obama still isn't sure what happened in Libya, but he will make damn sure that Planned Parenthood stays on the federal payroll.

Obama was wise to completely avoid answering the Fast and Furious question.

I agree with, prof, I think it was a draw. I have no doubt that Dems will think BHO won and that Repubs with think WMR won.

Meh. Draw. America loses. Hated the format, though.

I don't think Obama obliterated Romney on Libya. I think Romney choked on it. Unfortunately for him, it probably will be the biggest played clip over the next few days.

First Debate:

Romney 45 Obama 3

Second Debate:

Obama 27 Romney 24 (2 OT's)

Romney is still #1 in the Presidential B(c)S though.
