Got fucked in the mouth, what??

Speaking of that, a farmer told me a joke today. Kid comes home from school and tells her mom that she learned how babies were made. The mom said "Really? How is that?" and the kid says "Daddy puts his thing in your mouth and then the seed goes down to your stomach and that's how you get a baby," and the mom says "No, honey, that's how you get jewelry"...

Boss and I got into a little spat to the point where he said "don't say another word to me you're pissing me off" which is not a good place to be with your boss, however it was because he didn't include me in a trip to London and after he cooled off he felt bad about it so eCat gets a week at a company conference in Vegas.

All bar tabs are expensed.

Life is good.

Nice. My travel budget has been cut back dramatically the last few years. I haven't been to Canada in ages as a result. I miss my little metropoleis up north.

Mark me down as officially jealous.

One of the things I told my son is that part of becoming a man is learning when to speak, when to shut up and when to eat crow. eCat learned and got a trip to London (if you said another word, you think he would have felt bad enough to give you the trip?)

I'm looking into placing advertising banners at the top and bottom of the forum and site pages in order to kind of offset the burden of financing the site from donors and see if we can generate a little revenue from our traffic. Thoughts?

In other financial matters, I have yet to hear back from a relation of Hizzy's. I'll give it another shot and some more time, but we might want to begin thinking about alternative things to do with our little memorial fund in Hizzy's name.

Does anybody have a problem with ads? I dont want to waste a bunch of time on it, if its going to be an issue with people. I'm hoping for about $25-50 in revenue a year which would cover about a quarter to half of our current yearly costs. An example of what you could expect is on the home page.

I checked the home page and didn't see one

I also have Adblock Plus running though.

Really? Is it that effective? I cant imagine that you wouldnt at least be able to see the HTML <div> box that would normally contain the ad though even if blank...

You also might need to refresh the page, because like this forum, the word press based home page uses extensive caching to speed up load times, but sometimes doesnt update quickly or correctly.
