Maybe they should just wear stuff flags into the back of their waistbands and it's a "tackle" is the other team pulls the flag out...

KSR just posted their first "Maybe Stoops isn't the man for the job" type article. It doesn't really say that, it says that its time for him to earn his pay and get us to a bowl , as well as stop bringing in players that celebrate tackling a guy after a missed defensive assignment and fold like a cheap card table when a team brings the heat.
so yea, they're pretty much saying Stoops better figure out a way to get this team to a bowl game this year (with Florida AND Bama on the schedule) or he should be let go.
KSR , for better or worse is the public voice of the fan. This is a big deal in UK Land, like when Johnson said "If I've lost Cronkite, I've lost Middle America."

as long as they stay in the SEC they are bottom feeders
targeting is all about the head and neck.
DB's have to go for the legs/thighs/knees I guess but on a ply like that its hard to judge where he will be when they are fullspeed jumping etc

we're not talking about beating the best in the SEC
we're talking about beating USM, 2 other non conference teams and then 3 SEC bottom feeders.
That's all we're asking for at this point.

Same with IU Football. Just be good enough to make a bowl game every year. Maybe once every 10 years, try to get a really nice bowl game when the stars are aligned just right.

with the number of meaningless bowl games out there, its pretty bad if a big program can't make it to the Beef O' Brady Bowl

the thing about Stoops is he can apparently get the players who are talented enough to take us to a bowl, but if they aren't stars coming in , they don't do much while they are here.
Why in the hell did he not use JoJo Kemp more last year I don't know. The kid dragged the team behind down the field his freshmen year.

The refs were not kind to Newton on a few levels...those helmet-to-helmet hits only being some of it.
