#4 He's the second best QB of his generation behind Brady. Not a bad place.

However, Rings define Champions and separate the top %1 of the rest of the greats and Brady is there with Bradshaw, Montana etc
You make the point better than anybody, rat. Bradshaw is a champion...and he'll gladly tell you that. And he'll also admit to being less than a great quarterback. Franco Harris was a better running back than Bradshaw was a qb. You remember the Steel Curtain? And Jack Lambert was a better lb by far than Bradshaw was a qb. Hell, the '76 Steelers won the world championship with Bradshaw sitting out 2/3rds of the season with an injury...shutting out five opponents while Terry was in sweatclothes.
The best champions were the Yankees during the middle part of the last century. Great manager, terrific assortment of position players and pitchers. Power, defense...they had it all. But any purest will tell you the best hitter of that era...and alltime...was Ted Williams. And the Splendid Splinter never played on a World Series winner one time.
Even though the 76 Steelers had the best defense in their franchise history, they did not win the national championship that year. They lost to the Raiders in the AFC championship game. It was a strange year. They were 1-4 when Bradshaw went down. The remaining 9 games were an incredible display of defense. Only gave up 28 points in those 9 games including 5 shut outs.

Bradshaw has 4 rings and actually had a bad playoff game? Thank god they didn't have message boards back then.

Anyways...now that I'm home, I remembered that there was a question I was wanting someone to answer. Hmmm...what was that question, anyway? Oh, yeah...
Why hasn't Brady won a SB since 2004?

Trent Dilfer and Doug Williams agree with you.
Diler = Williams > Marino = Fouts.
Yup. Sounds about right.

At least 'Val-Peytiepie-Lovers' makes sense.
I've never seen a Vagina connection to this particular debate. Or Foreskins either, for that matter. Maybe I'm missing something.

speaking of vaginas...
http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/74969 ... ain-future
"Peyton Manning, still trying to get healthy after missing the 2011 season because of neck surgery, described the Indianapolis Colts' facilities as "not a real good environment" at the moment and said he has "no idea" if he'll be with the team next season."

When will you all realize rickart is just trolling for posts?
Notice he never responds to anything that actually details his hyprocracy?
He's got a laser pointer and some of us are the cats and yes I am guilty of it as well at times.

I'll gladly admit to a bias, but I'm convinced the following is true:
Peyton's place in the Pantheon of NFL QBs is secure. He'll always be in the discussions involving the greats of the game. Montana, Marino, Manning....the 3Ms will always be a constant.
Four NFL MVPs for one person will never be equalled in the rest of our days.
Peyton meant more to the success of his team than anybody who played during his era. The only person I can draw a comparison to in my lifetime is Jim Brown with Cleveland.
And as a total aside...PM has terrific comic timing, as his SNL skits and commercials will attest. The new one where he screws The Bus on the coin toss is great stuff.

The SEC (23) and Big Ten (22) are the only conferences with more than 20 players on this year's two Super Bowl teams combined.
