I have no desire to be reminded that people I know are dying at an increased rate and my solution is to marginalize the possibility of me hearing about it.

I do not want to be reminded of my mortality as it seems I am already reminded daily of what I can't do anymore when it comes to endurance and physical ability just by living life.
