I’ve been playing Farmville 2 at work nonstop over the last month, brahs. Game is awesome. Only problem (besides the significant cut in my productivity) is I feel like ppl are checking me out and know I’m goofing off on the job. You have to play in landscape view so I’m paranoid ppl know I’m doing something I shouldn’t.

so I have been on Facebook for probably 15 years now give or take and it was an enjoyable platform for what it was. Its easy to bag on it, and admittedly other than tracking Milfs who at my age wouldn't give me the time of day even if I were single, it doesn't provide much enjoyment to me.
However in the last week something has happened that is both eye opening and depressing to the extent I think I'm giving it up entirely.
In the past week there have been two obituary announcements for people I know that are within 2 years of me. That has made me realize I have moved away from where a death is a both a rarity and a tragedy and just outside the fringe of the "well, he/she was getting on up there" category. I have no desire to be reminded that people I know are dying at an increased rate and my solution is to marginalize the possibility of me hearing about it.
I do not want to be reminded of my mortality as it seems I am already reminded daily of what I can't do anymore when it comes to endurance and physical ability just by living life.

makes sense
Yes people my age are dying all over the place. I don't need to be reminded of it. And yet another benefit of not doing any social media.

I had 2 real close friends die the week before Christmas. It was a really wild time trying to get back to Cincy in a snowstorm in early January. I quit FB a year ago. To many weirdos & adds. I'm basically twiter only at this point. And this shithole, of course.

(URLs and contact deleted from spam by aTm)

There are a handful of movies that, if I happen to flip to them, I am stuck watching until it ends.
