Goat Pen Draft is tomorrow night around 7pm. Its auto pick so if you want a say in who you draft, you need to edit your draft order before then.

Cool. My real draft is at 6. Have we given up on the money portion?

His dad was a decent MLB player. He's already had more than you ever will.

tori hunters kid holds on and it would have not gone to ot. got his clock cleaned though I'm glad they let that play thru without a targeting or whatever nonsense the nfl would have done. if that play occurred on sunday--15 yards

LOL. That play was textbook targeting and would have been called targeting 99 times out of 100 and was in many NCAA games over the weekend.

Even the player knew he got away with it.

The fact that the play wasn't even officially reviewed for targeting while a player was knocked out on the field for 5 minutes was kinda horseshit. (A play can be reviewed after the play for targeting even if no flag was thrown, if it doesn't happen in that circumstance then I don't know when it would.)

A texas WR also threw the ball about 30 yards in the air after a near TD. That's an automatic unsportsmanlike.

The ref watched him and just marked the ball on the 3 like it didn't happen.

An exception must be made for targeting an ND player. That guy did not deserve a flag and, in fact, should get the Congressional Medal of Honor for his service to the United States of America.

I have to admit I didn't feel as bad about it b/c it was an ND player. And by not as bad I mean secretly happy...

Agreed. It was not a fine moment for me as a human...but fuck it, leave perfection to Jesus.

It's a shame the stadium couldn't have been sealed tight and filled with water.

In college yes, that was targeting. In the NFL, get the fuck up.

In the NFL you lose a playoff game.

or don't get up

yeah I guess that was targeting by definition although I don't know what you do in the 4th quarter of a tight game to try to break up that play. should have had his pad lower I guess

When targeting becomes a discussion, invariably there are posts like that one that want to discuss the "circumstances" of the hit. "What if X happens, or Y happens and its the end of the game, or if the defender cant do Z?" If it's truly about protecting players, then the rule needs to be about what happened, and not about intent (which is just asking for BS from officials who will all see it different ways). If you hit a guy in the head and knock him the fuck out, whoopsie, shouldnt have been going for the ridiculous bone crunching shot and taken that chance. Receiver ducked his head? As they say in Russia, tough shitsky. Maybe try and actually tackle the player rather than take the risk that you're gonna go helmet first into his face. "Yeah he got knocked the fuck out, but the player only accidentally kocked him the fuck out, no flag...this time" is a ridiculous way to officiate the sport. If you accidentally commit the foul its a foul. Personally they should change the name from targeting to something else. Targeting implies that the intent of the player making the hit matters, which isnt really in the rule now.
