FWIW American Civil War reenactors around the world will be observing a moment of silence at 1.07 PM today. That is the time of day that the first Confederate cannons touched off on Seminary ridge south of Gettysburg, Pa to begin the doomed attack known as Picketts charge, 150 years ago this day.
Field musician, fifer, of course. I did go to the 3 day reenactment at Gettysburg this past weekend. Had a great time.
