If Romney loses, the ready made excuse is he wasn't moderate enough. That's what they always say about R moderate losers.

Report continues to be panned.....no matter, as bad as Obammer was Wednesday, the knob gobblers need something to suck on.
“The report presented a slew of contradictory data points, with the total employment level soaring despite the low net number,” said CNBC's Jeff Cox.

While the headlines associated with the BLS report will be met with enthusiasm, digging deeper, the underlying data continue to point to a tepid economic recovery. That makes this employment report at best an okay one, certainly not a stellar one, and not one to be celebrated. Accounting for July and August revisions, the data still show slowing job creation month over month over month. In other words, the economy is far from out of the woods.
Per the BLS report, the private sector added 104,000 jobs which means the public sector has started adding jobs again. That 104,000 is well below the job growth needed to affect the unemployment rate just for population growth. Also digging deeper, we find that at least part of the drop in the unemployment rate was due to the continued decline in the number of people in the labor force. More specifically, 211,000 people exited the labor force over the last 30 days, which brings the trailing 12-month total to 2.64 million
Simple truth, not for the knob gobblers.

“The numbers are put together by trained professionals and in a process that keeps politicians from interfering,” said Douglas Holtz-Eakin, president of the American Action Forum and a chief economic adviser to former President George W. Bush. “Any sort of suggestion to the contrary is wrong.”
Former Bush administration spokesman Tony Fratto took to Twitter to say: “Stop with the dumb conspiracy theories. Good grief.”

Maybe with an honest administration, but we have a Chicago crook and two of the ones that put it together have been caught giving Oprama campaign money, one over two grand.
This guy has already proven he will violate federal law to make himself look better (stopping the pink slips from going out), if it's possible for him to manipulate the numbers and put out bogus reports he would absolutely do it in a heartbeat. He doesn't know what honesty is.

I don't post here that much so I'm asking seriously:
Are you serious? It's late at night so my sarcasm meter may need adjusting.

Oh, he's serious. And get this: He claims to be a medical doctor. He's either lying or it proves that you really don't have to be that smart to be a doctor. Or possibly both in his case...
"He doesn't know what honesty is."
Evidently BOJ thinks Obama is dishonest AND stupid. I mean, if he can so easily manipulate these kinds of numbers, why did he wait until now to do it, and why did he make it such a modest improvement? If he really could get the unemployment numbers to read whatever he wanted them to, why isn't unemployment at 5% right now? Or, if you say "Well, he can't make it that obvious", you would still think that he would have had it below 8% by now. It's just too fucking stupid to even pay attention to, but yet BOJ fully buys into it. I honestly don't know who is stupider b/w BOJ and IB. It's very close...

LMAO at DSL strawman post....since all that went over the knob gobblers heads(where's the
conspiricy in stating that 2/3 of the hires were part-time positions?), here's a change.

Also, where's the conspiricy in stating the fact that the overall total of (permanent)jobs available went down?

There's no strawman. Your boy, Allen West, has accused the administration and the BLS of inventing numbers out of thin air to make Obama look good. Tea partiers all over the net are saying the same thing. The numbers are fixed!!!!
And BTW, did Bush's administration not include part-time jobs in their unemployment numbers? If they did, can you back and revise all of them upwards? Thx in advance

Rasmussen, the pollster who weights Republicans more than any other, has Romney now up 2. Rasmussen uses a 3-day rolling average so this latest poll includes ONLY post-debate interviews.
Romney has gotten a modest bounce but not a big one. And it might already be waning

I am as serious as I can be about him being dishonest. He will do whatever he thinks he can get away with. If he can find a way to manipulate numbers he will.
Anybody that will blatantly tell a bald faced lie about his own mother (or was it grandmother) about health insurance in order to just further his agenda is dishonest. People didn't like "Johnny Fairplay" because they thought that was just too dishonest on a show that you are expected to lie on and Obama did it in real life.
He has already sent letters out telling employers to VIOLATE FEDERAL LAW and withold layoff notices AND HE promised TAXPAYER MONEY TO FIGHT THE LAWSUITS FOR VIOLATING THE LAW.
That's about as dishonest as you can get so yeah, if he could find a way to manipulate the numbers he would do it without a second thought.
It's not that it was "temp" labor that raised it, it's that it didnt' jive with the labor participation rate, didn't jive with any other economic indicator and it was an estimate that can be over or underestimated that was responsible for it. It's that most economists predicted that it would actually go up, but it didn't go up it went way, way way down and the way it went down, estimated temporary jobs and people quit applying for work. That's what made that GE CEO tweet what he did about Chicago boys.
I didn't say he DID do it I said there is no doubt in my mind he WOULD do it if given half the chance. I believe he is that dishonest. Like he said to his own preacher "your problem is you have to tell the truth, I don't". No I don't think he has an honest bone in his body.

It's not that all Republicans are racist (I'm not sure any one on here has made that allegation), but there are more Republicans who are willing to voice publicly statements such as above. As Joe Scarborough said, "
“I’m just tired of the Republican Party being the ‘Stupid Party!’” he said, “Stupid people saying stupid things and scaring off independent voters and swing voters!”

You admittedly don't know what you're talking about, so no sense arguing this one.

Nothing at all dishonest about it. The administration doesn't want layoff notices to go out for the fact that sequestration may not occur...or if it does, layoffs will be sufficiently delayed to allow for pinkslips to come later. The law applying to the 60-day notice calls for a
known termination date, not a speculative one. Pesky details for sure...but you need to read beyond the fox or drudge headlines. Nothing was hidden, no lies were told, and no FEDERAL LAW WAS VIOLATED. heh

All politicians are dishonest to a degree - except these two guys.
