I'm reading that Stoops brought in new coaches who are abandoning the air raid offense and will go to the running game.
I complained last year they didn't utilize the right running game but it was more personnel than scheme.
Now they are basically going back to the mentality that killed the excitement for UK football.
I predict its the end for Stoops. I don't see UK going up against SEC defenses with a run based offense built around 3 star players.

Kentucky needs to remove itself from the SEC football Conference and go Independent so they can schedule 7 or 8 cupcakes in order to have a winning season. They'll never be able to compete at the top level of the SEC. They were one last play of the game away last season of being the 4th best team in the state. EKU should have won that game.

We should be able to beat Vanderbilt, a Mississippi team and at least 1 more for a six win season regularly - like 4 out of 6 years regularly.

I assume when you say "a Mississippi team", you're referring to Mississippi State...

Twitter is now going to free stream NFL Thursday Night Football games. This is a paradigm shift that could change how sports are able to be consumed. I wonder how Twitter will monetize it, since it will be a free stream.

you mean streaming video via twitter?

Yeah, streaming via Twitter. As far as ads, it's not like they get any ad revenue from the commercials that air during the game. The only advertising I could imagine they would do is via banners...and I don't think that will generate much income. I need to read up on the proposal and the expected way it will be delivered.

Are they not able to charge for advertising for the stream? Not sure how it would work but if they have the only stream on the internet, that seems like it would be worth something. If nothing else, it will attract users to Twitter and that will help their overall advertising.

I can't even watch Netflix without buffering at 8pm
I can't imagine trying to watch the superbowl with Hop Sing and Dmetri on the other side of the world watching it as well

I rarely have problems with Netflix. You must have a shitty ISP.

man I hate losing Nelson to the Raiders
he wasn't consistent but he showed up when there was a big time quarterback on the field - and I don't recall him being hurt all the time like Hall.

Yeah. Sort of a bummer. They tried getting a deal done but like Hall, I think they were ready to move on. Why I don't know. Hate losing a Gator and a still good player.

I'm not sure our defense is going to be top 10 in the league next year
