Crashcourse's NASCAR and Manning > Brady Regurgitation

Pretty cool how the Manning part can be inter-changeable.

So, Moon, Fouts and Marino, all of whom were elected to the Hall of Fame in their first year of eligibility, were NOT great QBs? You see the sort of stupid things you say when you rely on Rickart logic?

BTW, I have posted the playoff stats, too. I have consistently been the person in this discussion who is not afraid of facts and statistics. You, OTOH, want to ignore facts and stats that prove you are wrong.

Im going with the Giants. 20 years from now when both Eli & Peyton are sitting around the Thanksgiving table, Peyton will always remind Eli of the MVP trophies above his fireplace. Eli will just raise his hand and smile. And Brady will laugh because he's got 3 and fucks a supermodel every night and will still go down as the best QB of his era.

Why hasn't Brady won a SB since 2004?

were you talking about Peyton in the 2006 AFC playoffs (the year the team carried him to his only ring)?
Wait a second...I thought QBs won SBs!!!

Hack, take a breath, 1, 2 3,......calm yet?

No one is claiming any of those are not greats. I think we all agree Peyton is a first ballot lock. However, Rings define Champions and separate the top 1% of the rest of the greats and Brady is there with Bradshaw, Montana etc. And for you to try and say Peyton is the only reason the Colts were ever good is a slap in the face to those great players who helped him get where he got. I guess Marvin Harrison was a no talent hack before the golden arm of Peyton got there.

Holy shit. Rat is composing posts with multiple sentences and even paragraphs..

However, Rings define Champions and separate the top %1 of the rest of the greats and Brady is there with Bradshaw, Montana etc

You make the point better than anybody, rat. Bradshaw is a champion...and he'll gladly tell you that. And he'll also admit to being less than a great quarterback. Franco Harris was a better running back than Bradshaw was a qb. You remember the Steel Curtain? And Jack Lambert was a better lb by far than Bradshaw was a qb. Hell, the '76 Steelers won the world championship with Bradshaw sitting out 2/3rds of the season with an injury...shutting out five opponents while Terry was in sweatclothes.

The best champions were the Yankees during the middle part of the last century. Great manager, terrific assortment of position players and pitchers. Power, defense...they had it all. But any purest will tell you the best hitter of that era...and alltime...was Ted Williams. And the Splendid Splinter never played on a World Series winner one time.

I know its impossible, but I'm just asking for some consistency from rickart.

Brady and Peyton both have got their teams in position to win games by kicking a FG. NE kicker made his and Colts kicker missed his. He praises Brady and slams Peyton. Only difference is what the FG kicker did not what the QB's did.

Slams Peyton for a poor performance when teams wins and praises brady for the same thing. Hell Flacco had them there and the kicker loses it by missing. Eli is in his second super bowl because his kicker made the FG's.

Sad.

Anyway Peyton and Brady is like arguing over the temperature of hell and if you swap one to the other team and vice versa I firmly believe that the SB wins would remain with NE as they had the better coach, better defense (by far) and better cheating.

Anyway Peyton will likely be cut and will get to pick and choose where he wants to go and assuming he gets the all clear form the Docs will be with a contender. Likely the Jets, Houston, or Chicago.

I feel sorry for all those Colts who made the Pro Bowl in 06. They didn't matter. It was only because of Peyton they won. Hack says so. All those pro bowl players for the Colts during those glory years, offense or defense were only because of Peyton yet Brady only wins because he has great players and coaches. Tony Dungy weeps. And yes tick, I can post long paragraphs, but its rare considering the content.
