I'm a little disappointed that Peyton Manning wouldn't announce his retirements last night.
Didn't have a single touchdown pass. He won't be back on Denver next year and I doubt anyone will take on his salary

He wasn't going to announce it and upstage the team win. He will do it in a few weeks when there is no NFL news going on. He will sign a 1 day contract with Indy to retire as a Colt.

Newton's going to get his time - It will be sweet watching him dethrone Brady
The one thing new I learned last night is Talib is out of control

I think he had a brain cramp. no other reason unless his shoulder was really bothering him more then he let on--kinda like a qb letting a pick 6 go by I guess without any effort to tackle--or half ass tackle

I love watching Eli Manning's face as his brother was heading to the victory. It was joyless and clueless (which in fairness is Eli's face at all times, but still). That second ring was the only thing Eli could hold over his older brother's head. Last night just fucked up every Thanksgiving from here on out for him.
That (BS, personally) no catch call early in the game was the initial indication to me that Carolina was not gonna take this one. The amount of times the ball hit Panther receivers' hands and were not caught was the second clue. That Denver front 4 were monsters last night. It was the best game they've played all season.

I think their best game was against newengland when they rushed 3 or 4 the whole game and got to brady 20 times
last night they blitzed the snot out of cam so no double teaming on the 2 ends

It was pretty amazing that they could keep it up with all the 3 and outs.

Panthers couldn't handle the big stage, it seemed. Denver barely did. Carolina was still 2 or 3 plays from winning the game. Worst SB to watch in a while with all the mistakes. Was like watching a high school game.

So the Panthers and pretty much entire media are all over the Panthers and seem to be talking shit the entire week.
Then Panthers and Cam get smacked in the mouth.
Cam at news conference hears Denver player excited, talking shit back, etcc...
Cam gets up like a bitch and leaves.
Yup, that about sums it up. Guess what Cam. The script has been created on how to beat and contain you. Good luck.

well..to be fair that script has to include building one of the best defenses ever assembled.
Cam's gonna get his moment in the sun - but he needed a bit of humbling. America loves a redemption story anyways.

Yeah Dan Marino thought he was going back at some point to. In the hard salary cap of the NFL, teams don't get very many opportunities in a 6-10 year stretch. Unless you sold your soul to the devil like that team from the upper northeast.

Marino and Favre didn't have as many opportunities as they would have expected, I'm sure. Cam's a bit of a baby and has always been, when he's not winning. He's gotta get better at that. He has a little too much Kanye in him, in that respect. I think he'll be fine, though. Carolina made many more mistakes than Denver Sunday night, too. It's not like Carolina was Steve Grogan's Patriots. Denver's D was vicious, but Carolina had their chances (and I still contend that the "no catch" call was a blown call and had a bigger impact on the game result than it should have).

it was a blown call and might have switched field position preventing that defensive td
Carolina didn't have the heart to win that game though

You're probably right...on both counts.

Also not mentioned was Von Miller whacking Cam right across his face mask on the strip sack that turned into 6 points for the Broncos D...as well as the late hit on Cam in his end zone after he threw a ball away late...
