Not as much fun when you don't have 5 NBA first round one and done's, eh?

I'm at a loss as to why Cal lets Archie Goodwin play. The kid single handedly took us out of this game.

He is going to be universally hated in Lexington tomorrow

I still like the UNC/UK play-in game scenario, with the winner playing Dook in the "first" round of the tourny...

I don't think either UK or UNC are NIT bound. We'll both win enough games to get us a (by normal standards) embarrassing seed. A 6 seed would be something to shoot for at this point, as somewhat of a high water mark. That would provide for a good chance to win the first round, and then pull off a second round upset over the 3 seed and then, with any luck, play the 7 seed who was an upset winner over the 2 seed in the Sweet 16. Then a favorable game against another dark horse in the Elite 8 against the, say, 4 (or worse) seed. We're both shoe-in's for the FF!!

UK is not going to the tourney barring a miracle run in the SEC tournament. Put a fork in us. We're done. Cal called the last plays for Goodwin who was 2 -10 on the night and shooting maybe 50% at the free throw line.

Meanwhile, his best shooters, Wiltjer and Mays were in double figures and Wiltjer had scored the last 4 points.

Its just maddening.

Kentucky already with 2 L's... count 2 more against Florida, 1 against Missouri, Ole Miss and Tennessee... that's 7 L's in the SEC.... ain't gonna get you in the tourney.... and they sure aren't going to win the SEC tourney. Like I said, NIT.

Still get a chuckle though when Cal says there's 3 first round pics on this team......

Even though Goodwin isn't even a 4th round pic, I hope he declares. Would totally mess up next year's team.

Hey, Cal's got his eye on the real prize: Those recruiting titles. Can't get those one and done's to sign if they see you running plays thru a sophomore dutch whitey to end the game if you expect those hot shot high school ballers to pay you any mind. Cal ain't no fool. He ain't scared to tank a season to ensure yet another recruiting title...

Wel, no. Nobody is a 4th round pick in the NBA

fukkin' archie goodwin.....terrence jones gets called a selfish motherfukker for missing an open man last year against 'bama, and the most selfish, ball-hoggin sob to ever lace them up for the cats gets a free pass and has plays called for him at game's end?

you know, the difference between this team and last year is there's no jones, lamb, or miller on this year's version...we need a couple of kids to come back next year to provide some continuity, but i swear to hell, i'll go to lexington and pack his stinking bags to make sure one of the returnees isn't archie goodwin...selfish little non-shooting chemistry-killing fukwad

This may be the worst week of basketball in Archie Goodwin's life.

Its virtually a consensus among UK fans he's killing the team, and after the Auburn game Cal was talking about how we are a better team when Archie takes less shots.

Practice this week is going to be miserable for him.

Archie Goodwin is revenge from Duke for us laughing at Austin Rivers last year.

one thing that takes the sting out of the loss last night is knowing we'll get Bama back on the football field next fall
