Metropolitan Cleveland has the same number of residents in a 100 mile radius that it had in a 25 mile radius 50 years ago. Now most of the inner suburban areas are facing real losses to more distant suburban areas. Malls in the suburbs are closing while newer ones further out are thriving.

Bernanke to Congress: You’re killing us

http://www.marketwatch.com/story/bernan ... 2013-05-23

The Fed chairman once again called on Congress to re-prioritize its deficit-cutting efforts to allow some fiscal stimulus in the short term and a more sustainable balance in the long term....

Let’s keep in mind that Bernanke is not a Democrat, liberal or otherwise. The former Princeton professor, who was appointed to the Fed by George W. Bush and briefly served as Bush’s chief economic adviser, has always been considered a Republican...

“High rates of unemployment and underemployment are extraordinarily costly: Not only do they impose hardships on the affected individuals and their families, they also damage the productive potential of the economy,” Bernanke lectured lawmakers this week...

But is Cuyahoga Falls a suburb of Cleveland or Akron?

I am always annoyed by these cases. Isn't it basically a Freshman to Senior relationship? If so, then they need to put a dragnet in high schools across America. I need to see how I can make money off of this...

I'm sorry, as a parent, would pursue as well, guy or girl. 18-14 is a whole lot different than 18-17/16. The only difference would be that I would inflict harm on the guy, probably not on a girl.

So if a senior wanted to take your Freshman daughter to the prom, you would tell her no?

(also, the girl/defendant has been 18 for 3 months)

Bullshit. They were a couple before she turned 18. The parents knew. They hated it because they couldn't accept their daughter was a carpet muncher. They anxiously waited until the Munchie turned 18.

That is correct.

Ahhhh, as a man with a very young daughter, I will end it there. I'm not going to jinx myself explaining the backlash and debauchery that can come out of not playing that one right.

our high school has a separate freshmen wing to intentionally keep the freshmen away from the upper classmen. Its generally accepted in our community that freshmen don't date, much less go to the prom.

LMAO. Our high school needed that (and Ive seen it in places here) but it was because the freshman class was 50% of the enrollment and all the thugs couldnt get out of ninth grade before they dropped out.
