"So Big Brother knows how much your kid needs to eat, even more than you as the parent or the kid does."
Sounds like they know more than some doctors when it comes to how much is too much, eh, Dr. Fatass?

It's got to be a little discouraging when your doctor walks in the room and he's a wheezing, rotund fatass whose thighs slap together with every step. What a horrible example of supposedly knowing how to live healthy, but absolutely lacking the will or resolution to actually do it...

With the addition of Kitty and the subtraction of Hack, this place just got even more moderate. The old guard of pnn "independent moderates" are gradually being displaced by real independent moderates.

On these officials in the NFL thing. That call last night was just awful, but I have seen calls just as bad by the regular officials. They are acting like the regular officials are flawless.
This stems more from a desire to "break the owners" than any true concern about the calls because the call in the GB game last night was difficult enough that the regular crew could have missed it too. That's a call that goes the wrong way a considerable amount of time in college and in the pros because of the rule that if it is simultaneous possession it goes to the offense.

The Slowdown in Health Costs is Over - Here We Go Again
U.S. spending on health insurance grew at an acclerated rate in 2011, breaking a two-year trend of smaller cost increases. The culprit, a new study suggests, is not Americans seeking more treatment but rather rapid growth in the price of medical care. Spending for private health insurance surged by 4.6 percent in 2011, according to a report from the Health Care Cost Institute. That growth rate is faster than the rest of the economy and higher than the previous year, which had 3.8 percent growth. Average spending on a private insurance patient rose to 4,547 in 2011, compared with $4,349 in 2010." Sarah Kiiff in The Washington Post
puter, you gotta love how your article starts measuring obamacare back to the campaign season of 2008 "when Obama began making his promises" - obamacare didn't start until 3/23/2010, and the major provisions won't kick in til '13-'14

What it amounts to is that most of the hardcore rightwing guys in here have some deep-seated aversion to admitting it and instead insist on calling themselves "independents". But they are neither moderate nor independent. You seem like a pretty right-wing guy yourself, but you rarely seem to take the obvious party, FoxNews line like the other dolts in here. For that reason I'd say you are one of the only independent moderate guys in here, at least from what is commonly held to be the rightwing side of politics these days...

I would think the old guard would have more time to post, actually. There's too many hours in a day to just sit in your safe room/bunker cleaning your AR-15 and reading the Bible.
