They need to rest Manning till playoff time. It's the only way he had a chance to tie Eli.

Well, I wasn't down on Stoops until the last couple of games. I have no idea what he sees in his W.R.s and his lack of use for Boom Williams and Jojo Kemp keeps me scratching my head.

And whats up with wasting that time only to call timeout with 10 seconds left?

Stoops record is now the same as Joker's in his first 3 years - and Barnhart now has hired 3 coaches that have failed miserably on his watch - yet he is still somehow a well respected AD.

The reality is Stoops will be given next year to prove himself and then another year after that to fail - but he's killed recruiting. No kid is going to come here after watching this team meltdown 2 years in a row.

Kentucky will more than likely only win 4 games next season... Southern Miss, New Mexico State, Vandy and Austin Peay and could easily get trounced in 2 of those. Stoops is not the guy to turn UK football around and they refuse to pay the big 'basketball' bucks to get a quality coach. I'm done with Kentucky football.

2016 UK football schedule.... http://www.fbschedules.com/ncaa-16/2016 ... hedule.php

I'm not done but I'm not sure there will ever be another time for UK football in the SEC (at least in the foreseeable future) to have a schedule as favorable as this one. Every team we played in the SEC is having a down year - even Florida if you compare it to their Meyer era and we managed to win only 2 games against SEC teams who are having historically bad seasons.

Next years schedule will be brutal and Stoops will be on his farewell tour.

I can't imagine Barnhart hiring another coach with no head coaching experience. At least now UK fans are off of that unmerited optimism that goes with whoever he hires. Barnhart won't be able to pump enough sunshine up our asses to sell anyone that doesn't have a proven record.

Hell, I'd try to get Jim Tressel and let him recruit Ohio for us.

" I'm done with Kentucky football."

And yet immediately after saying that, you post their 2016 schedule...

"Hell, I'd try to get Jim Tressel and let him recruit Ohio for us."

What about Mack Brown?

well I'd happily take Mack Brown but I don't see a Texas to Kentucky pipeline being established like I could a Ohio to Kentucky.

Even with Florida, they are still thinking SEC and UK could sell a kid spurned by Florida or Georgia on the chance to prove them wrong.

Plus, Tressel , assuming he wants to coach is probably desperate enough to consider Kentucky. Mack Brown still has options I would think

Mack can recruit. He did it at North Carolina as well.

I only posted it to show there's only 4 possible winnable games next season... Now after setting you straight, I'm officially done with them.

Doesn't Sweater Vest have to go through some hoops to get back into coaching? I don't think he can coach again until late 2016 because of his penalties. Plus, hes President of Youngstown State. What a gig!

As long as Barnhart is AD, forget about UK hiring a top name coach. He refused to hire Calipari until Mike Pratt suggested Calipari to Lee Todd and Todd agreed. Plus Stoops' buyout is $18.7 million. No way is UK going to fork over that for football.

I didn't realize it was that high

Barnhart should be fired for getting us into that kind of buyout position on an unproven Coach.

Fuck, Les Miles buyout is less than that.

If anybody watched MNF (and really why would you?) all I want to know is if Ray Lewis got to talk bad about Manziel for drinking on an open week while we all ignore the fact that he killed a guy at a party.
