Actually, Joe the idiot aside, they have stopped. Most actually stopped even before the Supreme Court ruling because they felt they didn't have the money and resources anyway. Stop paying attention to your right wing rhetoric and actually deal with the facts. I showed you the Supreme Court decision (including at least 2 conservative justices). Your argument was that it was legal. IT"S NOT!
It's like your claim about the poor causing the collapse. You say it over and over, but the facts just don't fit.

Dude, Maricopa County is over 70% of the total population of Arizona. Sheriff Joe Arrpio is absolutely having his law enforcement people enforcing immigration law. So.... that is pretty much 70% of Arizona. Stop being Noam Chomsky and counting only the hits and none of the misses.

You are twisting the argument. I never talked about the 4 Supreme Court rulings. I was talking about Arizona State and local law enforment enforcing Federal Immigration law.
THEY ARE STILL DOING THAT. They are not going to stop, they will continue to arrest and lock up illegal immigrants. They don't give a fuck what the Supremes said about AZ's 4 State laws, E-Verify, and SB1070.
By the by, the Supreme Court agreed that AZ law enforcement could ask about residency status. That is really all they wanted in AZ so they got what they wanted.

I didn't say "the poor" caused the economic collapse. Here is a fact. I said "the welchers" caused the collapse. Don't you put words in my mouth, boy.
If you are wealthy (or at least, middle class) and you welched on your home loan, SHAME THE FUCK ON YOU! If you are a welcher then YOU are the reason for the collapse. YOU thought YOU deserved home equity and the moment YOU were upside down YOU welched. That would make YOU the problem. Whether you are a rich man, a poor man, or anything in between, is beside the point.
Facts are facts. Fact is, the 2,000,000 welchers caused the recession we are all still in (and may never exit.)

Pay attention dimwit. You said that I was completely wrong when I explained the Supremacy Clause. I then pointed out the ruling of the Supreme Court versus Arizona supporting my statement about the Supremacy Clause. Your attempt to try and change that fact doesn't matter. You are wrong. Where the state law is in conflict with the federal law, the federal law preempts the state law. (the same thing pointed out by Bkln by the way). Basic Constitutional Law. Any lawyer can tell you this.
J. Rat, as for some idiot calling me boy? Has no effect. He is after all an idiot.

From 2011:
Illegal Immigrant Deportations by the Numbers
For all the grief President Obama has taken over his immigration policy—Republicans say he's a wimp, Democrats say he's not compassionate enough—one fact has emerged during his term so far. He's deported about 18 percent more illegal immigrants than former President George W. Bush did in his last two years in office. And he's on par to have given the boot to nearly 1.5 million immigrants by the time this term is done.

She's on Medi-whatever & aarp so its all cool. I just think the pricing is a fucking joke. She waits an hour alone just to see the doc for 10 min @3k just for that hour. Then she waits an hour for her treatment to be approved & started. Every 3 weeks @ $18k a pop?

The teen in one article that hit him was supposedly quite a bit bigger than the ref. Then I see the size of the ref:

Police: Utah soccer referee punched by player dies
The teenager, quite a bit heavier than Portillo, began arguing with the referee, then unleashed a punch to his face. Portillo seemed fine at first, then asked to be held because he felt dizzy. He sat down and started vomiting blood, triggering his friend to call an ambulance.

Kid probably feels terrible. Reminds me of my first week of rotation in the Emergency Room as a med student. Young men (probably 19 to 21) were horsing around in their car around Galveston Battery and hit a 15 year old on bicycle. They rushed him in to the E.R. where they worked on the kid, but he was declared dead. This kid that hit him was devastated (I originally thought he was related, only to find out later he didn't know the deceased).

I was just watching this topic (sort of) on Bill Maher. The range from 14 - 21 is a tough spot. You are big like an adult, but still really dumb morally and don't really contemplate the full level of consequences to your actions. We treat these people as adults (normally) in criminal matters, but they really are not quite there.
I think about some of the things I did as a teen. If not but by the grace of God, there is no telling where I would be. Being an athlete, honestly, made it even worse, as far as my actions were concerned.
With that said, if the kid is upper middle class, or more, he'll not have a record when he's 21.

The auto accident was an accident. The punch was intentional. He probably feels terrible because he's in trouble. I doubt he gives a shit about the ref.
