In the end, The students and alums of UAB do not care about UAB football. Never have.
UAB folks are primarily Bama or AU fans. That's where they spend their Saturdays. If both are off and UAB is playing, they rake leaves or go to a movie or watch other games on TV. The Blazers are not a consideration.
There is no reason to support it. I won't. If you want to, I can hook you up with free tix whenever you are in town (when/if they start it back).

Hell, aTm, you might as well give mod powers to Rat or some blind, mentally retarded handicapped boy with Parkinson's who is missing 8 of his fingers. Same diff, really.
Hey! Not Fair! I was always respectful as a mod at World Crossing.

we just pulled a X.4 release yesterday - as in packaged it , sold it to customers , then called them up and told them it was so bad they shouldn't use it
I'm guessing there will be a few unemployed programmers in India and a few unemployed managers in the states here by the end of the week

I think you've got your quality control at the wrong part of your operations system.

yea I really can't tell you how it happened but its not something that has ever happened before.
its one thing to find a bug because an end user has a weird printer driver running on Linux , but to pull a release is really unprecedented - which is why I expect some heads to roll.
Our competitors will have a field day with this.

If SAS is one of your competitors, I bet they'll (ahem) sass you...

SAS isn't.
I am happy where I am, but I would listen to SAS if they ever called me.
speaking of that, I got a call from a recruiter for a company in Houston, TX. He asked me how content I was on a scale of 1 to 10. I told him 9 and he couldn't get off the phone fast enough after that.
