Yeah I was alluding to that when I posted "He'd made disparaging comments about FSU's coaches the last time we played them in the regular season." Viloria basically runs up and down the sidelines waving his towel to rile up the fans and players. We'll continue to beat the shit out of his team and he'll continue to boil inside - I can live with that.

"He took issue with FSU's strength coach Vic Viloria's conduct during the 2012 FSU-Duke game.... I don't remember what Viloria did that upset Cutcliffe"
Come on, man. You can't throw out a tidbit like that and then leave us hanging. What was Viloria's conduct that upset Cutcliff?

Seriously? It's got to be more than that. That's what S&C coaches do...

He runs up and down the sidelines waving his towel. Meh.
Here were Cutcliffe's tweets after the 2012 game. His grammar and use of exclamation points is eerily reminiscent of Marty Moron:
Court Jester!! Not on our staff!! I saw a good bit of this yesterday in person and on TV last night. Interesting!! twitter.com/DavidCutcliffe…

New version strength coaches ( court jesters!) they like to b seen on the sideline! A court jester was considered a fool! Nothing's changed!

The court jester/fool is generally portrayed as the smartest character in most literary depictions...

I'm getting fed up with 'Jaboo's' antics - yesterday he jumped up on a table in the student union and shouted some profane comment that has been going around on twitter or whatever social media - a little while later he repeats the actions in the library - word is that Jimbo will not let him play the 1st half this Saturday against Clemson which is barely a slap on the wrist as far as I'm concerned - one more idiotic screw up by this guy and he should have his scholly pulled and be sent home...imho

Shouldn't matter. He's still a kid college student. Back off. I'll bet there are many daddy's of kids at FSU bailing their kids out of the drunk tank too begging for it not to hit their record. Why is he different? Because ESPN says so? Fucking stupid.

Has Mark May called him out for "Bringing Shame to the Game" yet?

If Clemson wins the toss this weekend, I guess they defer to make the new kid start on offense.

I think you meant:
"If Clemson wins the toss this weekend, I guess they defer to make the new kid hand off to Karlos Williams three times before letting the punter shank another one."
Jimbo seems to like Maguire a lot though, and his history of QB mentoring is rivaled by only a few.
It's so damn ironic that in the Spring last year, Jameis stood in front of the microphone and said "you need to hit me over the head with a microphone if I get Manziel disease". He's taken Manziel disease from the sniffles to the full blown flu...it's just baffling to me that he just doesn't get the microscope he's under. Yeah, you're a 20 year old college kid...they do stupid stuff. But FFS, if I knew that doing stupid shit that gets me on ESPN every other week was going to cost me millions of dollars, I'm not doing stupid 20 year old college shit. PERIOD.

As long as he keeps playing well, it's not going to cost him anything...

I disagree with that. With all the spouse/child abuse uproar going on now, he's already a gamble. Now throw in the fact that he's not shown himself to be a good representative of an organization, and his stock drops further.
Obviously if he raped his accuser, he's a shitbag but I don't believe he did. Nothing else he has done is any sort of big deal on the surface (minor shoplifting charge, shooting a BB gun, "stealing" Sprite from Burger King with a ketchup cup) - and the latter two incidents (along with the rape charge) happened before he was the QB at FSU. But when you do things that bring negative attention to yourself repeatedly, and you've seen enough to KNOW it will bring negative attention to yourself, then you might not be someone that can be trusted with your organization's image....which could drop you to the late part of the first round or even the second round. That's millions of dollars.

Well, I guess you're right as far as draft status. But if he performs at the next level, none of this stuff will matter. Winning is all that matters in the NFL, unless it's something criminal (like wife or child beating, the latter of which is debatable (at least as far as Peterson took it). You prove yourself to be consistent playoff caliber QB in the league, nobody is going to care about a few F-bombs here or there...

Now then, raping women and stealing crab legs is another issue entirely. Somehow I don't think he's going to be stealing anymore crab legs after he gets to the league, though...
