That post just happened to fall into a current online vendetta against the reporting of this storm.

The in-laws decided to stay in New Orleans this time. Probably will stop the fam from flying out on Tuesday. Hopefully, will keep my electricity on.

If Crow was here, he'd be talking about Rat's fambly going to New Orleans right now, as rushing into the teeth of a Cat 5 hurricane would be preferable to staying in Ohio with him....

It would've been, I'm sure, if he could have fit his double-finger-point move into the avatar...
[and yes, I believe it is his personality, fwiw]

I hear Nancy Grace is gonna do 6 hours of continuous coverage on the hurricane in the gulf. She's calling the special: Katrina II: Just When You Thought it Was Safe to Go Back to the Quarter

It's what they live for. They love to sound the dire warnings and threats of what could happen if you don't evacuate, and then they go stand outside right in it. Would love to see one of them decapitated with a stop sign on live TV...

One guy said yesterday that basically that what we need is dry air flow being pulled into the storm to cut off and then we could really see some intensification. Yeah thats what "we need"

Christ. La Tech just postponed our game until Oct 13. Shreveport is in no fucking danger from a 75 mph hurricane. Its 200 miles inland. Its further away from this storm than when A&M played in the remnants of Hurricane Isabel in Blakcksburg, VA. I guaranfuckingtee you that nobody in Temple, TX thinks there are in any danger from a hurricane of any kind being 200 miles inland, and definitely not in danger from a Cat 1 storm hitting New Iberia, LA or Brownsville, TX 340 miles away, which is the distance Shreveport is from the Mississippi delta where this one will hit.
