Why does every perp in To Catch a Predator collapse in dread when Chris Hansen finally says, "Well, there's one more thing you need to know: I'm Chris Hansen"? Like, they know who he is by name but not by sight (and they've been sitting there talking to him for 10 minutes at least, probably way longer than that but after editing that's all that's shown on TV)? Or is there something innately terrifying about the name "Chris Hansen"?

You sure do have a high interest in TCaP, Hedge. This is very interesting. Why don't you have a seat.

I don’t remember if I posted about it here after the first season, but I highly recommend Clarkson’s Farm on Amazon Prime Video.

I watched it awhile back, I hope there is another season

he kind of lives the ideal farmers life - tons of money to make it a fun hobby, not a career choice

also ready for another season of Reacher.

I've been doing Fargo & SOA these past few weeks. Just finished SOA. Might try the mexican spin-off.

Season 2 came out yesterday. I believe there will 3rd as well, but after that it seems his deal with Amazon ends.

saw video of Alex Murdaugh on the stand

I think its pretty obvious what he is doing, but as a trial lawyer it must be a pain in the ass to have another trial lawyer on the stand

The attorney in his situation is either going to look like he’s evasive or very favorable with the cross examining attorney looking like a horse’s ass who is overly aggressive to the point jurors subconsciously feel sorry for the lawyer witness.

I haven’t watched his testimony yet but will do so in full by this weekend.

Given what (admittedly little) I have seen of the solicitor and what I know about the quality of defense attorneys, I’m betting on the latter.

he is going overboard on the admission of him stealing money from the law firm and client, like getting into the weeds on being accurate of his statements

and the prosecutor seems to be going along with it

He knows he's cooked on the financial crimes. That's a much lighter sentence though. He did it. I have no doubt. He's been caught with his hand in the cookie jar since the boat crash trying to control it. The son he killed killed him 1st.

I mean stating the obvious, by being very, very specific about the details of the financial crimes in making sure he gets its right -to the point of giving up more info than necessary on the questioning, he is establishing credibility with the jury when it comes to the murder questions later on.
